obviously late to the party here, but damage scaling actually works in a somewhat different way. it's less that it reduces all damage and simply reduces high damage even more and more that it has a DPS soft cap. for Hush, Mother and Mega Satan that use armor, 40-50 DPS is pretty much the DPS soft cap (and due to a glitch rn, Ultra Greed's DPS cap is so low that Judas can reach it with no other items than his starting active lol) but pretty much everything else that uses armor has a significantly higher DPS cap (Dogma and The Beast have a cap of 80-90 DPS, so high that the cap doesn't even matter) so low DPS is pretty much not affected by damage scaling at all
And whats strange is that Repentance STILL has these issues. Damage upgrade?! the f**k is that?! Which sadly, you cant deny the fact that, Isaac is all about damage output.
I really enjoy these, they let me experience the salt and enjoy only the more entertaining points of the very long run. Plus your edits add more than I would have expected if you just told me the concept. Definitely focus on you and make sure you put your schooling and life ahead of these, but I'm incredibly excited for more of these in the future when you can put them out :)

Hot take but by the very beginning of the Depths 2 when he picked up Eye of Belial this run was authentically great. Long, hard fight to get there, but it would have been a throw solely on his part to die at any point thereafter.

If you're willing to accept some real criticism, first of all welcome back. We all missed you. Now for the second, I do believe your first season had more edits and was flashing with your personality and passion. I understand this is you comeback in a long time, but for the future uploads, I hope you improve even further beyond from the masterpieces that you made in season 1. I'll give you a generous 7/10 for this episode. We're not expecting the next episode to be better, for we know it will be.

Like, it wasn't a very exciting period and I just didnt really know who I was etc, so I'm agreeing with you 100%. I'm not exactly super proud of this episode, which is why it took a while for me to actually upload it even though it was "finished". Now that I'm looking at it again I see so many points where I could've added something funny, but didn't, and honestly, I'm a bit disappointed in myself for releasing something I can't say I'm proud of. I will make the next episode when and only when I feel like it, and I'm gonna make sure I'm taking as long as necessary. No cutting corners from me anymore. Thank you for your confidence and me and I hope to see you next episode :)

Nothing is lazier than making damage scaling anything. Defeats the whole point of progress
