On one hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his second day of touring the state, while on the other, veteran Congress leaders will become active starting tomorrow, i.e., Saturday. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have scheduled about five rallies in the state so far. They will begin their campaign in Amritsar, and the party has already started preparations for this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a fierce attack on ruling Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, saying that drug trade is flourishing in the state and the government is in debt.
