OK, so first of all I had to watch us into parts. I was at my desk and had tears and will just say a running nose and needed to pause for a minute. This was so emotional and so beautiful. I know what your going through with your spine. I can't begin to know how much pain your in. I my self are on waiting list for my first total knee replacement surgery. The pain in in is lessened by two types of Morphine tablets and oral I stay in the borders of Scotland and I don't need to pay for the tablets or the operation. I had both hips replaced in 2016 and I'm fine with them know. Any way I'm so envious of you managing to get a Clair Taylor doll she has a very special mum in you. BIG HUGS YVONNE.

Hi, yes often when you buy a reborn or silicone doll depending on the artist or seller they will send the baby with a box opening. Its something you can ask or read details on an e.bay auction to see if the baby will come home with a box opening. ~ Tasha
This baby is a Claire Taylor. Brand new your looking at around $8000 second hand maybe $5000 . I believe she has a website & you can look on e.bay. It's really best to get involved in Silicone doll groups & follow different artists & sculptors to see exactly what features you may like before investing that kind of money or start with sculpts on the lower end like $1800 to $2500. Do your research before diving in. Its alot to invest before researching well. I'm just a collector so these are just rough estimates based on what I've seen. You should really speak to artists & look on e.bay & web sites to get better price estimates. Dollfan is a great one to start. You can buy a 6 mo membership to start & see if you like it. Theirs lots of threads & helpful info if your just starting out & looking for your first full bodied silicone. You can get info on the different types of silicone, how they are poured, what features they have. You can also find artists/sculptors. You can buy blank kits & choose an artist to paint & root them.
