Ruby fpv can do that. It is called Relay in Ruby fpv system. Ruby fpv is an open source project, developed by Petru Sorouga. From 2021 I think. Now it can also use OpenIPC cameras such as Runcam Link and Mario FPV. I recently built VRX and today I was flying it for the first time, only for 5 minutes because it was dark. I'm very positively surprised.
This is the one instance where it really hurts, because I fly HDZ exclusively. I openly admit that DJI is beautiful, but I've gotta have the low latency. Not to mention dji needs a little swift kick, from competition now and then. Thanks Bardy, and Blunty. 👍
with digital I would expect a zero-copy packet forward using DMA between the receiver and transmitter. I don't think it would introduce much latency if done correctly.
Using a type-c wire you can use the DJI Fly App to repeat the live feed from the goggles to anything that can run the app, phones, tables etc. and that feed you can mirror it to a bigger screen if needed.
The main thing for me to be using walksnail instead of dji is to be able to give the signal via HDMI output to anyone during parties. That way when there’s a mapping behind the DJ for instance, we can put live feed of the drone view behind him and that’s so sick !
@ that’s not, you need the dji rc controller which costs 1000€ or an android smartphone. Tell me if wrong but I’m pretty sure you can’t just output 1080p signal out via hdmu of any dji goggles.
Walksnail is only good for flying among people shots - when you see a tiny flying among customers in an entertainment venue - it's likely Walksnail 1s. DJI is still too heavy.

How difficult is it to build an HDZero repeater?
Bet they don't decode it in that repeater and just send it along. So the delay stays almost the same maybe +1-5 ms

Ws look like go to w@r with this repeater 😅 I don't see a regular pilot or long range pilot hiding behind something for flying. In other cases yes
This is a gift to Russia from China.

What do you mean? That's possible with every DJI goggle, the latest one, even wireless.

@baptiste_nonat you're right, of course, but it's absolutely possible with that. What you describe is not the reason to buy walksnail
@@saturn_fpv HD zéro and walksnail are absolutely not the same thing
@baptiste_nonat typo, obviously, corrected.

There’s some leaks suggesting that the upcoming O4 “lite” thats coming out will be 1s-3s capable
@@DanielJohnFPV I tried the naked 03 lite - and the camera would not stabilize. So gyroflow never worked with it.
