As 40 guards closed in on Connor's position, a small grin formed on the Native Assassin's face as he pulled out his hidden blade and tomahawk. The metal blade shines in the sunlight, attractive to the eye as much as a quality diamond. The tip was razor sharp, able to easily cut nearly anything it makes contact with. The tomahawk was perfectly designed for dismemberment, which put fear into the guards whom were faced against Connor. The assassin got into a combat stance, with both weapons at the ready. 3 guards began their attack, one of them preparing to fire, and the other two running in. Stepping swiftly to the right, Connor deflects the first attack with the edge of his tomahawk and kicks the enemy away, leaving him temporarily out of the fight. The second guard rushes in from the right while Connor blocks the attack with his hidden blade, swinging his tomahawk down to disarm the opponent then proceeded to stab him in his throat with the blade. The first guard rushed in from behind, swinging his bayonet with Connor ducking under the attack, thus hitting his teammate by accident in the head. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Connor swings his tomahawk around to the second guard's back before finally making contact with the back of his neck. He then pulls his hidden blade out with the corpse falling to the ground before bringing the second guard's body in, using him as cover as the sound of gunfire filled the air. This event sent a wave of panic amongst the rest of those who were standing. This was going to be a brutal bloodbath...
There is nothing like getting into a giant fight in the middle of Downtown New York and it's you versus 10+ Red Coats and the next 2 minutes feel like hours but finally you down the last British Soldier and can take a deep sigh of relief.
I was listening to old AC music and found myself here. In the old AC’s I use to run around and fight as many random guards as I could for fun. Now that I think about it, I do remember the dynamic music and I did notice a tone shift when more enemies appeared. Yet I never really paid it that much mind. It always felt like it fit right in. Never really took time to appreciate it.
It’s more like: Me: *Finds my little pony figure and grabs it* Bronies: “HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT’S THE LAST ONE!” Me: “This is for my daughter and I hear this is the last one created, so I came here to grab it.” Bronies: *Starts slowly walking up on me with bloodlust written all over them* Me: “Uh-oh” *Runs* Bronies: GET HIM! Me: *1:30** plays in the background*
You made me imagine a bunch of like, 400 pound white guys with fedoras, long ponytails and neck beards fist fighting each other in my little pony tshirts
Am I the only one who really loves the Escape Part? (2:40) It's thrilling and really gets you pumped. Note how some tracks from Detroit: Become Human sound similar to this so it might have been inspired.
There is one last variation missing, you’ll probably need to be in conflict for hours to hear it cuz it’s super rare, it usually is a transition down to a much more dark violin that’s not quite as loud as the rest of the song, you usually get it when you’re surrounded by enemies but their wasting time in attacking you
Thank you, I guess. I don't get why this video is so much viewed while the Frontier and Washington Fight - Escape are never watched and even disliked. I did the exact same job.
Anyone here hyped for the remaster? Im getting it on switch. Ive always wanted and assassins creed game portable and to have my favorite one be the first one on the switch is amazing.
I never noticed the song changes depending how many enemies there are. Wow.
I guess that's how you can tell it's effective. You really get into it that you don't even notice.
Fenton Abad Now that you mention it.. yeah, the music always felt just right, especially when finishing the last enemy. :)
me too.lol
Dynamic music, more games should use it

That part around 1:33...

The Escape Variation at 2:40 always put me in the "Oh crap oh crap oh crap" mode. Such great chase music.
The frontier version of the chase theme feels more impactful to me. It's always like "They're here, run now!"
That escape variation at 2:39 turns any running encounter from "I have to get away" into "I HAVE TO GET AWAY RIGHT NOW."
In my sight, clear as day!
After him lads, we're losing ground!

Best AC in the series

Absolutely. I love 'em
+Rafael Rodriguez when there are more than 10 fking guys oh god i love it
Rafael Rodriguez it's funny because I can take on the generals/jaegers no problem((the guys who can only be shot or disarmed))
Definitely one of the better Assassins creeds for the soundtrack, always made me feel so pumped
2:00 with headphones is pure chills and intensity
There is nothing like getting into a giant fight in the middle of Downtown New York and it's you versus 10+ Red Coats and the next 2 minutes feel like hours but finally you down the last British Soldier and can take a deep sigh of relief.

Assassin's Creed has the best chase and fight themes in my opinion
For some reason, any music with siren in the background instantly sounds better to me.
what about a bell? like the first AC

Wow, the game fight themes depend on how many enemies there are. Cool!
