For the numerals on Chun Li's bezel, I meant to say "The blue bezel has roman numerals on it. Unless you know how to read roman numerals you will have difficulty using this bezel."...and not "Chinese"....though Chun Li is....LOL.
I bought the Blanka. At age 73, I thought it looked like the most fun !! And at my age, I need to have as much fun as I can, and it's more difficult to have. Thanks Seiko.
Wow, 73 is a good milestone there. Congrats on your new purchase. Yeah, I'm sure these watches appeal to different people differently. So I'm sure there is a place for them out there. Seiko is fun. Watch collecting is also fun. Most importantly is to be able to enjoy the little things in life. 😉
I have Chun Li’s watch. I agree that the calf leather band isn’t the most comfortable , but I’ve grown accustomed to it. I agree that it is, style-wise, the closest resemblance to its character. It looks really nice, the studs and the blue sunburst dial.very pretty. What I additionally like is the surprising accuracy of the 4R35 movement (-2s/d !) and the numerals on the bezel which gives the watch a GMT/Dual Time/chronometer functionality.
Zangief's has the large numbers to the cardinals and I think it is a reference to the Russian watchmaking of raketa and pobeda, where the large number was common use. It would have been nice to see a 0 instead of 12.
wish they would make akuma or sagat. i think ryu is the best out of the bunch cause you can change the strap to the metal ones and would look old and has character.
Ken is my favorite character and it happened to be that red is my favorite too :D I think i'm getting Ken, and Zangef looks good too but Guile watch looks very standard brown. If it wasn't for the "Nash" i wouldn't have consider it that much rather than its being a limited edition :)

Ya got Ryu color all wrong mate. First of all it's more like pepper white than white. Second - these are not white rectangular markings, 12 o'clock triangle and scratches. These are in plain silver/aluminium colour.
The Ken one is quite nice too. Very aggressive and sporty looking. I personally got the Chun Li one though. Definitely one of the nicest ones in the batch.

Unfortunately they don't sell it with any display case. Not in my country at least. You probably need to custom make it yourself.
