I have a Kral Puncher mega 25cal senthetic , i installed a Jefferson state ss balanced valve took off the shroud and airstripper installed a wolf suppressor un and installed a rubber grumet on tne barrel band ,drilled out the transfer ports and redid the hammer spring , she puts out 965 FPS with a Neilson 39.9 gr and a 44gr 940 FPS and very accurate out to 100 yards 3 inch groups , damm good cyote gun
I have a brocock bantam magnum sniper in .22 that loves the 25.39 redesign.It is the best ammo i found for the gun,and i agree with you 100% about that being a perfect weight pellet.My gun is stock ,no modifications and shooting the redesigns tight at 900-912fps for about 60 regulated shots.
I have the quiet kit from Troy for my Puncher Breaker Works well, gun very quiet now. If you have access to a metal lathe, their not hard to make. I made a shroud and baffles for my Benjamin discovery, it's very quiet now. Just copied the baffles that are in my mrod. Made the shroud from 3/4" electric conduit, and covered it with carbon fiber wrap.
Fellow Long Island Airgunner here, I have a Kral NP-03 I found Kral barrel tend to foul really quickly with slugs. I am using NSA .2165 17.5gr in mine. I have to clean it every 150 to 200 shots to get the accuracy back.

Just got the Kral Jumbo Dazzle in 6.35, my first PCP rifle and so for I like it but I think it needs a little more power. Have you tried it out yet? What's your experience with it?
So from the video this is what I infer. 1. It likes pellets with a prominent skirt. 2. Harder pellets. I feel you need to take a look at the crown. These are damn good groups at 75 yards for a airgun at this price point. Finally a through barrel clean & polish with the JB Bore + ballistol tends to work wonders after the 50 shot normal lead in after the treatment.

My brother just got one but some one took some of it to bits so my brother not shore if any thing is missing. I’ve just seen one with 3-bottles I could never buy that model if it had one bottle like my gun power stealth or just one bottle at the front and one at the back the 3-bottle model must be heavy. You have to try the jsb monster redesign. Something about the original design. The aerodynamics of it, the drag it creates. It just does something to the flight that's not cool. I know several people who have tried the monsters and did not like them including myself. If you try the redesigned I'm shooting quarter size groups at a hundred yards with them. Also what twist rate is your Barrel? You may need a faster twist to stabilize those slugs and heavier pellets.

Deron Baxter the moderator is from wolf Airguns online. As for the valve on the jumbo...just give Troy a call and tell him what you like done and he will help you. Since I did most of the tuning myself I didn't need all that just the valve and stem. I mailed the valve and stem alone and he did the work.
I like your video. I think maybe the head size could/might be the problem with those spiraling pellets. It's not because they were shooting to fast. My modded Marauder pushes those JSB 25.4 Monster pellets at 900fps and keeps them in 1 inch at 50 yards. Most pellets should be fine up to 950 fps, some shooters prefer 920 fps as the max. I believe as long as they are subsonic, you should be OK. My rifle preferred a 5.51mm head size over all the other. The H&N Baracuda Match 21.3gr @ 970fps was my most accurate pellet in the 5.51mm head size. I really like the way that rifle looks.
I did some work on my Bobcat quiet vise . I used a (curler ) round things girls put in the hair. U know what I mean ? and inside that a painting roll ( some foam roll to paint walls ) Makes it from 92 db down to 78 db !! cost 4 $ !!

Ali Verrett I Agree with you about those pellets... Air Arms pellets are very good pellets overall. To me if you put AAs next to JSBs you would think they are the same pellet. They shoot pretty similar as well. Both Great High End Pellets. Pretty neck & neck Quality wise... The Air Arms might top the JSBs by a hair tho... Definitely a Premium Pellet that ALL Airgunners should keep stocked in their arsenals.
I think the slugs need to be going at least 825-865fps to stabilize. My 1st PCP was a Hatsan Flash and I cranked up the spring preload to get 28 gn slugs to stabilize for 100 yard accuracy. I recently bought the mega exactly like you have in this review and made a good ldc with baffle set Crosman NP214-001 Trail . It uses 1/2x20 and threads directly onto the barrel after removing the stock piece. I cut down the outer edge so that it would thread directly into the shroud and cut a piece of PVC to put over the baffles. My groups tightened up greatly.🤓 It's so quiet you can only hear the ping regardless of how power is set. The impact on the target makes more noise than the gun. I'm shooting your AVS slugs and getting good results out to a hundred yards🇱🇷
Hey Brian yes the mega like most kral guns can be made to deliver some serious power. I love it when our airgun can deliver 45 FPE but you cant tell if anything left the barrel until you hear it crash out at 100 yards. Brian, if your interested I can send you some .2183 slugs to try. @@AirVelocitySport well I'm not too sure what weight is best. I got a sampler pack of. 217 in 22,24,26 to add to some h&n 27gn and some 28 boattail cast slugs from Rich Morrel on eBay. All this crazy Florida weather has put a damper on testing. Corona hasn't helped either! I put a lighter-weight spring for the hammer and shoot things that are less than 17 grain at 50 or 60 feet and get 75 shots. I actually run the power adjuster at about 30% and if the raccoons come back, I'll probably put the factory spring back in! I know the barrel is choked and wonder if .218 will be too tight? Nonetheless 24 grain seems to be about the best weight. I really don't like to have to crank the spring up and kill that long shot string. 🥴 What did you discover regarding 217 vs 218? I need to make a fresh batch of gelatin for the test because I like to see the expansion. H&N 27's barely expanded so much. But the 28's doubled in size! Combination of softer casting and a huge hollow point opening. Can't wait to move back up to the Ithaca New York area!
What I'm seeing on TH-cam you seem to be the Kral expert and I'm thinking about getting the puncher Pro in 25 caliber and I wondered if you had any experience with this particular gun it's a beautiful gun but from what I'm reading and seeing on TH-cam they're having issues with it breaking many parts numerous times I was wondering what your experiences with it was any help you could give me be greatly appreciate it thank you
Hey Tim, yes, there are some issues with the valve stem, at least a few months ago. Not sure if Kral fixed that issue. There was also an issue the the cocking arm breaking as it was not hardened. The real Kral expert is Troy Hammer at Annihilator Airguns and tuning. Check out his website. I would be careful about buying Kral. Good guns but a few issues. They can be fixed.

Tox Laximus you do not want to over fill your guns on a regular basis because you will fatigue the cylinder and it might fail sooner. Yes they do have a burst disc or similar device if you over fill past the rating of the burst disc.
At the moment I use a pump but will be getting a bottle in the next few weeks so I was wondering is it easy to accidentally overfill a gun and would it be best to fit a regulator?
No need for a regulator unless to tether the bottle to the gun. I have never over filled. You will learn very quickly how to just give the bottle valve a crack to fill slowly plus you will be paying attention while filling. Don't worry even if you over fill a bit it's no big deal just don't make a habit of goingnover.

Well I can not say because I don't have a jumbo in 22. But MY Nova Vista liberty is as accurate as any airgun out there today. I stress MY Liberty because I have actual experience and proof, on video, shooting 10 shot sub moa at 100 yards plus shooting golf balls and shells at 100 yards. My .25 Kral Puncher Jumbo is very good but not as accurate as the 22 Liberty.

Sorry, I do not have any experience with the pitbull but I would guess that the action and barrel should be inline with the jumbo. Wish I had better information for you on the pitbull

I was not a big fan because of the shot count and power. I sold it a year ago. It held up fine for as long as I had it. Once I tuned it for Max power, about 40 fpe the shot count really dropped.
I've noticed hardly anyone uses crosman premier pellets, Why? ether the hollow point or the domed shoot as good as anything out there. Also the Benjamin Discovery .25 27.? grain also shoot very well. ether as good as JSB in my opinion.
I used to use them for my lower powered crossman 2240. They are just too light for me. I use 21 grain h&n. 14.3 grains crossman premiere get blown around at 100 yards. But yes they are fine
Giovanni m I love my kral guns and have 4. The puncher breaker in all calibers and a jumbo. I've only had one to go bad due to a blown seal but it's fixable
Giovanni m You can't listen to all you hear. There is alot of bad things said about the FX IMPACT but I Promise youll find just as many people saying its the best gun they have ever owned. Another quick example... Once i bought a Ford Focus with 0 miles and from mile 1 to mile 60 i could make a list a mile long of things that went wrong including the transmission getting ready to str8 fall out! So before it had made it to mile 65 it was back at the dealer and i vowed to never EVER buy or own another F.Focus again. However a friend of mine bought one with about 20,000 miles on it and has been delivering pizza in it full time as well as letting his wife drive it here and there :/ for the last 9 years with Not a Problem at all EVER. So really man... Do the Research and Do Diligence, but in the end come to you own decision. Im not saying dont listen to what people have to say about a gun or whatever but make sure you find out exactly WHY they are saying those "bad things" about it so you can decide for yourself if there should be any stock put into the "bad things" said. Especially if the people that are saying them are just random people here and there online. Theres alot of people online who like to say cold simply because they hear someone else saying hot. Ya Digg? Lol

I have a ķral mega but Turkish gun and air gun have not good quality equle best brands just they have down pŕice.i love volcun karbrine and fx impact but ìt s a dream for me.
You know that's really kind of too bad the Benjamin Marauder and a 3000 psi fill will get you 32 shots you would think you would be able to get more shots for fill with that gun especially with the power of adjuster I know I ordered one the same gun that you have from Pyramyd Air in the gun was so filthy it was all black look like it would been rolling around and Cole and the side cocking mechanism handle was all scratched up look like it wasn't even finished I sent the gun back to Pyramyd Air I was very disappointed in what they sent me they told me that they don't even look at the guns unless you pay them to shoot it so they had no idea what kind of shape the gun was in when they send it to me and the cheek piece adjustment was really loose and would not stay in place I was really disappointed in the gun

Wow, that is a tall order. Well, for $300 you have the Nova liberty .22 or Air Venturi Avenger .25 which are very accurate out to 100 yards. Old for $2100 I just ordered the FX Impact which is also very accurate. Then there are a few bull pups like the Kalibrgun Cricket or Tiapan Veteran. air Arms S510 is also great.

I started using Nealson specialty cast ammo hollow points 33.9 gr and 39.9 gr so accurate and the connetic energy is awsome . Awsome vidios

The 25gr. pellet was destablizing. The gun has a fixed power adjustment on it, dial it down once and try again with the Monsters.

The mega is ok but not great. There are so many better guns in that similar price range or cheaper. Just my opinion.

23 grn nielsen's may be unstable due to miller twist ratio. dunno what rifling / crown you have but go 50 fps faster or drop back 30 fps n c wht hppnz

Yes, I did shoot the 16gr jsb but it was just as good as the 18gr jsb. The mega loves both the 18 and 16 grain JSB.

What did you discover regarding 217 vs 218? I need to make a fresh batch of gelatin for the test because I like to see the expansion. H&N 27's barely expanded so much. But the 28's doubled in size! Combination of softer casting and a huge hollow point opening. Can't wait to move back up to the Ithaca New York area!

What I'm seeing on TH-cam you seem to be the Kral expert and I'm thinking about getting the puncher Pro in 25 caliber and I wondered if you had any experience with this particular gun it's a beautiful gun but from what I'm reading and seeing on TH-cam they're having issues with it breaking many parts numerous times I was wondering what your experiences with it was any help you could give me be greatly appreciate it thank you
Hey Tim, yes, there are some issues with the valve stem, at least a few months ago. Not sure if Kral fixed that issue. There was also an issue the the cocking arm breaking as it was not hardened. The real Kral expert is Troy Hammer at Annihilator Airguns and tuning. Check out his website. I would be careful about buying Kral. Good guns but a few issues. They can be fixed.

Tox Laximus you do not want to over fill your guns on a regular basis because you will fatigue the cylinder and it might fail sooner. Yes they do have a burst disc or similar device if you over fill past the rating of the burst disc.
At the moment I use a pump but will be getting a bottle in the next few weeks so I was wondering is it easy to accidentally overfill a gun and would it be best to fit a regulator?
No need for a regulator unless to tether the bottle to the gun. I have never over filled. You will learn very quickly how to just give the bottle valve a crack to fill slowly plus you will be paying attention while filling. Don't worry even if you over fill a bit it's no big deal just don't make a habit of goingnover.

Well I can not say because I don't have a jumbo in 22. But MY Nova Vista liberty is as accurate as any airgun out there today. I stress MY Liberty because I have actual experience and proof, on video, shooting 10 shot sub moa at 100 yards plus shooting golf balls and shells at 100 yards. My .25 Kral Puncher Jumbo is very good but not as accurate as the 22 Liberty.

My Nova liberty regulator was a bit inconsistent at first but after cleaning the washers and reassembly they are spot on.

Sorry, I do not have any experience with the pitbull but I would guess that the action and barrel should be inline with the jumbo. Wish I had better information for you on the pitbull

Hey air velocity how’s this rifle holding up I heard the cocking bolt breaks on these looking to buy a hunting rifle
I was not a big fan because of the shot count and power. I sold it a year ago. It held up fine for as long as I had it. Once I tuned it for Max power, about 40 fpe the shot count really dropped.
Enough shot count for most hunting i think

I've noticed hardly anyone uses crosman premier pellets, Why? ether the hollow point or the domed shoot as good as anything out there. Also the Benjamin Discovery .25 27.? grain also shoot very well. ether as good as JSB in my opinion.
I used to use them for my lower powered crossman 2240. They are just too light for me. I use 21 grain h&n. 14.3 grains crossman premiere get blown around at 100 yards. But yes they are fine

Giovanni m I love my kral guns and have 4. The puncher breaker in all calibers and a jumbo. I've only had one to go bad due to a blown seal but it's fixable
Giovanni m You can't listen to all you hear. There is alot of bad things said about the FX IMPACT but I Promise youll find just as many people saying its the best gun they have ever owned. Another quick example... Once i bought a Ford Focus with 0 miles and from mile 1 to mile 60 i could make a list a mile long of things that went wrong including the transmission getting ready to str8 fall out! So before it had made it to mile 65 it was back at the dealer and i vowed to never EVER buy or own another F.Focus again. However a friend of mine bought one with about 20,000 miles on it and has been delivering pizza in it full time as well as letting his wife drive it here and there :/ for the last 9 years with Not a Problem at all EVER. So really man... Do the Research and Do Diligence, but in the end come to you own decision. Im not saying dont listen to what people have to say about a gun or whatever but make sure you find out exactly WHY they are saying those "bad things" about it so you can decide for yourself if there should be any stock put into the "bad things" said. Especially if the people that are saying them are just random people here and there online. Theres alot of people online who like to say cold simply because they hear someone else saying hot. Ya Digg? Lol

I have a ķral mega but Turkish gun and air gun have not good quality equle best brands just they have down pŕice.i love volcun karbrine and fx impact but ìt s a dream for me.
You know that's really kind of too bad the Benjamin Marauder and a 3000 psi fill will get you 32 shots you would think you would be able to get more shots for fill with that gun especially with the power of adjuster I know I ordered one the same gun that you have from Pyramyd Air in the gun was so filthy it was all black look like it would been rolling around and Cole and the side cocking mechanism handle was all scratched up look like it wasn't even finished I sent the gun back to Pyramyd Air I was very disappointed in what they sent me they told me that they don't even look at the guns unless you pay them to shoot it so they had no idea what kind of shape the gun was in when they send it to me and the cheek piece adjustment was really loose and would not stay in place I was really disappointed in the gun
I'm sorry to hear that. The gun is a beast but not perfect. I think Troy Hammer at Annihilator Airguns can make this gun a fine tuned piece.

Wow, that is a tall order. Well, for $300 you have the Nova liberty .22 or Air Venturi Avenger .25 which are very accurate out to 100 yards. Old for $2100 I just ordered the FX Impact which is also very accurate. Then there are a few bull pups like the Kalibrgun Cricket or Tiapan Veteran. air Arms S510 is also great.
