Love that I got a notification for this video when this is what I threw together for in person league play today! Main difference though is I traded the Hiram draw engine for Yzma and BF combo draw. Of course that means I went with Winnie the Pooh over Fishbone since I get less value out of fishbone
This is the ink combo I'm most excited to try out! The other 3 card games I play don't have a resource system anywhere like this, and they all have much more aggressive draw and search power, so I'm most comfortable having an abundance of those in Lorcana haha. The other three games being KeyForge, Digimon, and Yugioh. 😅
I'd use Amethyst draw engine over the flaversham draw as it's more consistent. Bring in the Belle for better ramp and late game pressure. Befuddles and Pinocchio exert also help with early game aggro decks.
It looks like the best line in the last game against the Goats would have been to play Hades on the ready Goat. That allows your other Hades and your Elsa to challenge the remaining two Goats. Then you quest with Rabbit. He only goes to 18, and has to have Be Prepared or you win in two turns. The fourth Goat was another out to win against your board, and I don't remember if it was played yet or not. It wouldn't have mattered, because had his follow up turn been the fourth Goat, he only goes to 19, you go from 7 to 15, lock down the Goat with your Elsa, and then win the following turn. At that point, the only hope for your opponent to win would be drawing into a Spellbook to get that final point. The only thing that gives your opponent a glimmer of hope after that is a Be Prepared to try to buy time.
Great showing of the deck! It’s not easy to pilot. Lots of micro decisions that could potentially lose you the entire game especially into very aggressive matchups. Playing this deck gives me anxiety lol one wrong move and it’s over.
@@AlphosNZ yeah I try not to ink goats bc they give you that extra reach you need a lot of the time to close the game out. But sometimes you just need to.
What do you suggest cutting for the Nothing to Hides and Judy Hops? Olaf for Hide? Merlin Rabbit or Cruella for Judy? I will try replacing rabbits since it maintains the curve and also draws cards.
Not great as we have no way to remove bucky/john. just try to draw as many cards as you can so you can keep inking. And prioritise mickey > fishbone quill to save cards. If you can slam down elsas, hades & foxes you're in the home run.
I'd say Green Mufasa's good into this deck due to the evasives! I just didn't play into it while testing so didn't want to put it on the chart as I hadn't confirmed my hypothesis.
Your last game: You wouldn’t have won if you quested with hades because he would’ve traded his Merlin you took out into Elsa with his fox, still putting you at 18 and then 19 with goat

I wouldn't remove rabbits or olaf as they're both necessarry. I think you'd just adjust some ratios, the nothing to hide's not essential

I had a version of this deck but i dont have 4 hades & elsas so i would add 2 urusulas and 2 yzmas, it was fun but lost quite a few games 🥲
Yeahh I don't think the deck works without elsa/hades to swing tempo haha
