Chelt-cie is my favorite person in the whole wide world! I’ve heard these stories a million times before and I’ll listen a million more times. I’m so proud of her. Our little Post-It note 😢 😂😂💚
Hey Hunnies, original RF here! I'm so glad Chelcie's back on! I love when she shares childhood stories especially about Maggie and Biffy. She and her crew are literally out here taking over the world.
I was 100% addicted to office supplies as a child and as a 40 year old SAHM!! I got the old crayon boxes filled with Post-its, paper clips, the weird sponge attached to the tube to wet and seal letters, glue sticks, and the pen + paper obsession has been a forreal problem for 30+ years.
I loved office supplies too. My mom went to the bank once and brought me home huge stacks of deposit slips and whatever other little papers were there. Like I hit the jackpot.
Had my coffee this morning listening to this on my pod list and had to log on TH-cam just to see Cheltcie in her Chris Farley Era - did not disappoint. Thank you- you two. For making my morning complete and happy ❤
I can definitely understand Cheltsie's office supply obession I was the same way until i became a young adult and just bought a bunch of things and then realized I didn't need them but I think it's about things that you could never afford and you just always wanted!! Lol so odd but many people are the same way about pens
God, this show is so dang good. I love the way you unlock old memories in people. I laughed so hard when Chelcie reminded me of the phase I went through where for every present, I asked for a stack of colored construction paper. Haven't thought of that in years!!!
That's so funny-- I, too, had an office supplies era. I was always into arts and crafts as my main hobby as a kid (still am). And my mom always had her own office she ran, so I was around those items a lot. And it doubles as a nostalgic thing for me now, because the times I was around office supplies at my mom's work meant I was actually able to spent *some* time with my mom (she worked a ton), so that was always a treat in itself. :)
Lmaoooo I love the pic at 24:41 and her story that goes along with it. Reminds me of the one and only time my dad took me to get a haircut. My mom couldn't take me and she told my dad to get it trimmed. After the cut, the lady asked if I wanted mousse 🤣 as I sat there giving her a death stare.
Seriously, riding bikes in the trailer park was everything. It was a set area that everyone knew you'd be in and half of your friends would be "locked out of their house because their dad wanted to watch a movie." People were sent outside like they were being sent to their rooms. God damn if you couldn't ride the whole neighborhood without touching your handlebars, though.
Haha I love when small town people get popular or semi famous. Its so funny. Very few people actually know what its like to grow up in a small town. Its both the best and the worst at the same time. Some things are great, some things absolutely suck. I grew up in a small town in southwest Missouri, near the Oklahoma and Arkansas borders. Wild place.
Ryan needs to surprised Chelcie with a t-shirt that has that pic of her with “layers” on it and maybe some office supplies pix on back of the shirt 😂😂😂😂
Loved office supplies! My Mom had a roll top desk that my sister and I would try to play "office" with, but Mom didnt want us in there messing with the bills/paperwork, so she would lock it. Had it forever until my fat ass cat decided to jump on the rolltop, it caved in enough for her to fall alseep all cozy in it one day when we were gone, my mom was so mad at my cat for that
I still have one of those desks , my grandma gave it to me when she moved. I could not let it get thrown way even though I'm not even using it. Its just collecting dust at this point..
I was a school supply kid, too. First time I ever got in trouble in school was in 2nd grade. The teachers clipboards kept going missing. She opened my desk and there they sat 🤣
Chelcie lynn reminds me of the commercials/infommercials on Sundays before church that showed the little poor kids I felt so bad for in the 90's. I was poor too but those kids didn't even have clean water.
It’s so funny my grandma had one of those roll over desks and it was off limits. I was just like Chelcie super into post its and white out I guess because they cost money and our parents didn’t have it. Kids these days have iPhones while we were playing with post it notes lol
The only thing wrong with this episode is that it wasn't LONGER! Absolutely love Chelcie!!!
She’s done two longer interviews with Ryan. They’re here on YT, so def check them out. 👍
@@ashleybright3727 I have thanks :)
Yep!
We wanted this episode to have layers but it was too short! 😩
Well yes, but his laugh… 30 min of that is enough.
“Where the fuck did you get this. This is my Chris Farley era.” Definitely laughed like sickler for that 😂😂😂
Where my trailer trash fans!!!!
🙋♀️
Rockfuckers unite!!!!
❤
Absolutely!!
I'm here
23:37 - "That's my office supplies era" 😆

This was maybe the best episode of The Wayback yet. Gotta have her back that was hilarious, I'm literally crying laughing driving home from work
Ohhh lawd, Barbara! There's way worse things to be addicted to than office supplies.
I think this is old. Wouldn't you think she would promote Viral or Trailer Tales?
Yall remember her Post-It note story?? 🤭
@@DonLewis9274I think so too probably from spring time maybe
I was recently in a recovery group where a woman said "HI, my name is *** and I'm a shopping addict."...I think she was in the wrong place 😂
Reading this in Barbra’s voice 😂
I absolutely had an office supply addiction. I still do. It’s a thing. 😂😂
You should see my daughter and my stash!! I just can't get rid of them.
Pens!
School supply season = heaven on earth!!!!
What is that called lol
Having a pen that writes the exact right way is something I still lust for at 30....lol
The world needs more of Chelcie ❤
Never a dull moment with Chelcie Lynn 🤣
I LOVELOVELOVE the podcast duo of Chelcie and Ryan!!! They work so well together and it just fits.
25:58 The way she said "I gotta go to school tomorrow 😳" had me dying! I had to replay it like 50 times! 🤣😂🤣😂
Chelcie needs to write an autobiography
Fer sure!
Girlfriend!!! Her, Beth and Maggie as co authors?! Like different chapters? I’d tear that uuuuppp

Hell yea same when I was younger lol loved me some calligraphy pens
I love me some stationary but I never have anything to write lmao what is that called (the love of office supplies)
My favorite time is back-to-school supplies sales in September. Pink Pearl erasers, highlighters, tiny staplers etc. Just the thought makes me happy
For a hot second I thought Ryan was rubbing her leg and then I realized the dogs in between them😂😂😂😂
Same! Haha
I’m watching for cheltcie but his laugh is killing me😂😂😭
I can't stop thinking Ryan in rubbing Chelcie's leg!! 😂😂
7:38 "why don't we do that anymore?" "Well... probably called something different now" 😂
😂
I love your interviews with Chelcie Lynn!💃💃💃

I LOVE her & her podcast! ❤
12:55 oh DUUUUUDE!! My grandma had one of those decks. OBSESSED. WITH. IT. Every time we'd go to her house I'd just go sit at that desk.
I completely forgot that I loved office supplies as a kid. Also grew up in a trailer and loved roll top desks. What a weird memory lane to go down 😂
Mee too. Still have one. I love my desk!
Putting Sulphur on the map, baby!!!! That’s my hometown!!
When Ryan can't catch his breathe to laugh is the best!! Great episode!
I loved office supplies too. My mom went to the bank once and brought me home huge stacks of deposit slips and whatever other little papers were there. Like I hit the jackpot.
