- I took a cycle ride along Jomtien Pattaya Beach Road on Saturday, forgetting it was one way. Tried the burger at Gold Monkey Bar and sent the drone along Beach Road. It was quiet for a Saturday with not many people out and about. Gold Money Cafe and Bar is popular with expats but it's not so busy now low season is here.

You ought to join with Brian Jacks, he cycles every morning around 22 kms. Pretty good for a 77yr old guy
I used to cycle the same route around Lake Huai Chak Nok. I live a bit of a distance from him now.

I spent 3 weeks in that area right up from the Golden Monkey. Good cycling going east from there to Buddha Mountain. I sure miss Jomtien.

Also, it’s about the quality of the burger. You can get a burger for 89 Baht in a place I know on the darkside. But I wouldn’t eat that. 😳

250 baht = 5.44 GBP so should be a decent burger at that price. The size and quality of the beef pate looked good but at that price I would expect real cheese not that plastic processed stuff. Portion of chips and salad looked decent.

Trust me on this...not if but when you'll have a problem cycling around Pattaya. Drivers not paying attention, dogs, potholes, bad air, punctured tire, dust, ect, ect...get that cycling workout done in the gym mate
