Yep gooogans. Carp are one of those fish I love to catch and when cooked right taste great but I can't cook em very good. Why I'll give em to a few local folks that do know how to cook em right. Then just sneak over when I smell that fish in the grease and snag a few nuggets.👊👍😄

I seen a guy on another channel cooked the carp meat first then chopped it up real good then mix in ingredience like a salmon patty type consistancy then fried it like a salmon patty and he said it was good.

Take the scales off, gut the fish, take the head and gills off. Score the meat and deep fry
Carp and gar both, if you take the time to pressure cook it, those pin bones dissolve. Still have to get rid of the y bones. Them find a good salmon patty recipe and make it with the gar or carp and it's pretty darn tasty. I've done it, but to be honest not worth the time it takes. Give me bluegill and crappie any day lol

People in European countries eat carp and are not picky about the bones at all. You from over the puddle became so picky it's incredible. Be a man!
In Slovakia we have carp for Christmas as tradition. Not fillet but cut in horse shoe pieces and with breading on. It it soon good. I recommend it.
And guess what?! When you eat the carp carefully eat it with a fork and you can spot those Y bones and pull them out. No big deal.

There was an old Mexican guy that hung out by the river with a small smoker. He'd fish just for carp and sit next to the river doing a catch and cook right there all day. Some how the way he cooked it you just ate the bones and they kind of just melted. Wish I would have asked how he did it but I was young and I never thought to ask.
Slow smoked carp actually sounds pretty good.
