I've heard lots of people say they'd have them in their vehicles and would go hunting, from school, and there weren't these problems then. They were also alot easier to obtain years ago. As a mother of 2 young teens, I feel hopeless and helpless when I identify so many kids as future potential shooters based on their behaviors. They all have something in common, coming from messed-up families and having messed-up parents. They are the victims of poor parenting. But why should all the other innocent kids bear the consequences of their bad behavior?!

I agree with you, but every country has people with severe mental health problems, and they don’t have nearly the amount of mass shootings that we do so that argument doesn’t really hold up completely. Tripling the budget would be the financial nail in the coffen for the country. In my city of about 400,000 the police department is the largest portion of our budget. Our police department has a better retirement plan than the US Military. It would be easy to significantly reduce the amount of money we spend on the police department and still police our city better. There isn't a government agency that doesn't have a waste Fraud and Abuse problem.

This is the Gov of Iowa. She has been an excellent Governor and in my opinion, wouldn't participate in such a scam. Iowans, for the most part are VERY independent people and don't tolerate BS well. This isn't to say that the kid wasn't pushed into it by unknown outside influence, but I don't believe that there would be good cause to question Iowa's Gov officials and Iowa Law Enforcement on this.

Vote out of office any elected official that pushes, calls for the Defunding of Law Enforcement. Triple the budget of all Law Enforcement Agencies.
Tripling the budget would be the financial nail in the coffen for the country. In my city of about 400,000 the police department is the largest portion of our budget. Our police department has a better retirement plan than the US Military. It would be easy to significantly reduce the amount of money we spend on the police department and still police our city better. There isn't a government agency that doesn't have a waste Fraud and Abuse problem.

This is the Gov of Iowa. She has been an excellent Governor and in my opinion, wouldn't participate in such a scam. Iowans, for the most part are VERY independent people and don't tolerate BS well.
This isn't to say that the kid wasn't pushed into it by unknown outside influence, but I don't believe that there would be good cause to question Iowa's Gov officials and Iowa Law Enforcement on this.
One day people will open their eyes and realize there is a lot of evil and corruption in the World. We have been told lies forever and Iowa is not exempt from it all. I should know, I also live in Iowa and have seen a lot of it here.
