The Beyblade Metal Series was my go to cartoon back in the day. I still remember seeing Ryuga's death right before going into school and I was DEVASTATED. After not only recently rewatching the series and seeing the traction it's getting about how a series with spinning tops became pretty much your average battle shonen with these guys having their beys traveling through the galaxies, stealing souls, and having world ending power. So today we are going to be looking at the overall Hierarchy of the metal series, go over the crazy feats and hax displayed in the verse along with showcasing the ridiculous power creep within the series because it's probably up there with Dragon Ball with its power creep. So with that said, let's talk about just how strong and ridiculous Beyblade actually was. Starting off we do see the series initially showing off some low tier feats like busting through walls and generating real tornadoes such as Rock Leone who by this point is still far weaker than Doji and the majority of the cast who press stronger versions of him. Tornadoes usually can generate from 2 to 20 tons of tnt, which is enough energy to level buildings and city blocks. But this is pretty standard stuff for the verse as we even see as early as Episode 14, where Pegasus is revealed to not only emit starry skies but draw power from it. Emitting multiple stars to form a constellation at WORST is star level but calculations actually have this feat usually ranging to even Multi Solar System. Which makes sense as Pegasus and L Drago at their full strength are just above everyone and Gingka mainly likes to battle for fun and the thrill of it. Now I do think Pegasus is obviously weaker initially and needed an amp to contend with dark Ryuga , but we do see in the end Gingka creating a new special move that might have created a galaxy. So everyone likes Gingka Ryuga Kyoya Tsubasa Yu Masamune.

For deniers i have an answer, If it was all illusions then Beyblade is not even plastic bowl level but the anime proved its all real because of only one thing "Pegasus saved and Carried Gingka" which means Pegasus is real and all those spirits and everything created by them are real, this means all those dimensions and universes inside Dark Wolf, the Universe that Galaxy Pegasus created, and the Black hole that Twisted Tempo created are all 100% real, making first of all Ryuga Universe level+ for breaking the black hole and the Universe Twisted Tempo created, and the whole verse Uni+ for having beys like Temp, and for MFTL, Gingka did say" Galaxy Pegasus is a bey that zooms through the galaxy at the speed of light" it means Pegasus travelled through the galaxies in reality though it's shown that it does travel faster than light. Doji trapping phoenix in darkness could easily be labeled as some kind of genjutsu type technique. It makes a lot more sense when you look at how easily the darkness came apart when it was pierced by a fragment of Sagittario. No matter how much you highball beyblade, sagittario at that point in the story is in no way capable of destroying a dimension.
Twisted tempo’s special move was definitely more like a domain expansion. Not saying the black hole wasn’t real, cuz I think it was, but it would massively rationalize the amount of energy twisted tempo is capable of expending. The energy used to create a black hole is at minimum 10x less than how much energy it takes to create a dimension.
Hades’ gate is weird. I don’t think anyone would say that it’s dimension creation, since it seems more like an existing realm that is accessed by Kerbeck’s special move. I feel like it’s like the sunyata barrier from jjk, which is manipulated by the strongest barrier user. It would be consistent with Keoya turning the space into his own.
Say what you want about speed, attack potency, or strength, but most of beyblade caps out at planetary in terms of destructive capability. The only exception that I think there is to this is nemesis, which is only because it has the power to manifest the black sun, and no other beyblade has that much hax.

Beyblade was peak. Also, I think it's worth mentioning there are numerous statements in Metal Fusion about Beys having infinite or limitless power inside of them and then Ryuga is said to be able to draw out the full power of L-Drago, potentially making him and everyone who scales to or above him universal.

Nothing from the entire Beyblade franchise combined has shown anything even remotely close to the universal level. At best it was planetary and it was by Rago. Ryuga is just city level by feats.
I think all this scaling is fair, I see the beyblades as vessels or “holsters” for the gun that is the bey spirit. With the special moves and summoning of these spirits as them unloading the true power of these beys, Beyblade is downplayed a lot because “spinning tops”

It's about time they get some clout. Ryuga is also a lot more wild than people thought since he not only pushed Nemesis to be serious in a 1 vs 1 despite Nemesis clowning on every other blader while being jumped, but Ryuga did this while L-Drago was injured from a previous battle.
Ryuga didn't push Nemesis on 1v1. Rago freaking murdered him while using not even half of his power and that's the length he can go at best. Ryuga can get heavily damaged when battling someone like King as well. Don't disrespect Rago. Tbh even Kenta did more damage to Rago by himself than Ryuga could even do (without Ryuga's power, it was just the star fragment and his own spirit).

One very specific thing I’ll say about the scaling of the Destroyer Dome arc, I believe Jack was weakened by no longer undergoing the arrangement system. It doesn’t necessarily changing the main result, but I just thought I would mention it.

I still don't get as to why some are still trying to wrongly prove that the Universes that beys like Pegasus created was just an illusion, and that Pegasus doesn't travel to another galaxy when Gingka literally stated in the anime that "Galaxy Pegasus is a bey that zooms through the galaxy at the speed of light" this statement alone proves Pegasus do travel to another galaxies though we see Pegasus travel faster than light. And as for Universes that Galaxy Pegasus created when it's sealed away, the anime itself suggest that Galaxy Pegasus is sealed in it's own Universe it created and that Universe gets deleted the moment Gingka is able to get Galaxy Pegasus. Even Dark Wolf spirit contains an entire Universe inside itself and spirits are shown to be real the moment Pegasus carried Gingka. Those wierd pointless debunks are nothing but failed attempts to downplay a Universe level+ anime to lower levels like city level, which is so wrong considering the feats that has been stated
They just can't handle that the anime they once don't care, now suddenly showing that it's a powerful verse having Universe level+ feats
Because the avatars/ bit beasts are never acknowledged here.
For eg in the original Beyblade , there is an acknowledgement of how Bit Beasts are the avatars of Beyblade.
The only acknowledgement we get of these avatars were at the end of Season 1 when Pegasus saved Gingka and Gingka was shocked to see it to be tangible.
The one feat people tend to forget is how Galaxy Pegasus tanked a planetary attack and flew to a safe distance from Earth on mere seconds

It's obvious so I don't even need to show proof but since you asked so:
1) Gingka vs Julien - Are you really saying in this battle Gingka himself went to space, breathing and screaming? How hilarious can you be? They are just normal humans. They can't get tired by running if they can run into space within seconds. They show us fancy visuals to appease us when we were kids without putting much logic. In reality they were in the stadiums the whole time and everything else was just imagination within the spirit which they call by bey spirit. If Pegasus actually went to space and attacked Destroyer why did the hack have zero effect on stadiums and everyone else is laughing and enjoying the show with no effect? Open your eyes kiddo.
2) Damien vs Julien - Are you really saying characters just vanished from the stadiums and were in actual hell. You need some help. When Pegasus broke out of that metaphorical hell it clearly showed those two are standing still in the stadiums being half unconscious and two beys were just clashing normally the whole time, everyone else is imaginary which the others didn't see.
That's the example with EVERY SINGLE time they used some higher dimensions or Galaxies. It's just bey spirit nothing else. The only exception is Gingka vs Rago. Rago has the power to destroy a planet (by using full power) and Gingka with everyone's powers can destroy a black sun (which is even smaller than earth) so your delusions Beyblade being above planetary is just Beyond funny. Feats like this have always existed in Beyblade. In OG Beyblade (Gen 1), Tyson & Tala clashed so hard, they warped into another dimension because they fractured the space time continuum. It was only in Burst (Gen 3) was where everything was scaled down for a more realistic approach. They still do crazy things in Burst despite all of that.

My honest take as someone who has watched this show, been captivated by it, and has tried incredibly hard to make sense of its power scaling, I think you're going at it all wrong. Determining the power of a blader isn't about who he can beat but about the spirit of the blader and how well in sync they are with their bey. And how wins in a fight is a mixture of raw power of course, drive, spirit and problem solving. Many of Gingka's best fights were the ones where he was unequivocally outpowered but he managed to prevail via his excellent problem solving skills. If we based it solely on base level raw power, he would've lost a trillion times over, including his very first major fight against Kyouya, where had he not creatively solved the issue of the tornado, he would've simply lost, or against Tatsuya where he would've just lost by drowning XD
So that's problem solving. And spirit basically means how much the blader wants to win, how determined they are and how much emotional support they have. Gingka has been against the ropes many times in the past but has gotten back up even stronger after being reminded that he isn't fighting alone. This means that beyblade power fluctuates wildly throughout a battle, a blader isn't at their most powerful all of the time and their base can increase or decrease based on many factors. The fact that Pegasus blows up an island doesn't mean Gingka can just blow up islands. A pair of bladers can fight in identical circumstances and the result could vary based on all of those factors, so "A beats B but C beats A but B then B beats C so B is more powerful than A" is not how Beyblade works.
And the final factor I think is just that a lot of it is mostly symbolic. Yes, the anime plays really fast and loose with what actually happens in the anime. Do the Wales twins actually summon water? Are those pegasus feathers actually there? Is gravity destroyer's blade actually hitting the stadium? Some of these are yes, some are no. Sometimes we see a spirit do something and the bey appears where the hit occured, implying that the bey physically did the attack. Sometimes the spirit does something and the shape of the attack is impossible for the bey to have performed it in the way it's shown. With this what I wanna say is that most these representations are symbolic. Dark Wolf isn't actually creating a dimension, Galaxy Pegasus isn't actually creating a galaxy or giving life to new starts. That galaxy "is" there in the same way the logo flashing "is" there: it's not, but it looks hella cool.
What I'm tryna say is that what you're doing is trying to almost quantize or rank beyblading when it doesn't work like that. This is about spirit, drive to win and connection. It's not that those factors unlock a hidden potential, things like spirit and motivation can make a blader actually, measurably more or less powerful in the moment. Plus it's also about practical limitations, a beyblade can turn really fast but, even though they've never attacked a human directly, we see that they don't have that much angular momentum so most direct hits can stop a bey in its tracks. There's a lot of nuance to how powerful a bey actually is XD
In this regard Tyson and kai are the most powerful beybladers to ever exist. Especially in last fight against Zeus.,chief said that dragoon msuv is the strongest beyblade ever created. After all the spirits of bladebreakers and tala combined into one force.
I was never interested in watching the Metal Saga of Beyblade because I just never liked it (I'll be honest, I'm too biased on the Plastic Gen) but this video got me interested even in the slightest in starting to watch the Metal Saga, this sure is some crazy power-scaling. This create-dimension like powers (this is only my opinion) must've started when Tyson fought against Brooklyn back in G-Revolution's Ep52, dude was fighting some mentally-broken guy (I think there's a better word to describe Brooklyn that time) who created a dimension from his mind with the help of his Beyblade Zeus and then the Metal Saga took that kind of ability to the next level.
I'll start watching this soon after I watch some more power-scaling videos of this series.

Beys on ice were so fun because of low friction meaning they were faster and lasted longer
