Hi Lawrence.
It's good to see a manufacturer resopding to end user problems/suggestions, the iterative changes to the initial design clearly have improved functionality hugely.
For me, the 12 frame wins hands down.

Bought the shallow roof version a few months ago, so hopefully I won’t have water problems, but hard to recognise which one of the other hives on the Abelo website you were demonstrating.

I noticed that the plastic queen excluder they sell at the moment is the 11 frame version (460x460mm), luckily they do a wire excluder for the 12 frame. Are there plans to do a 12 frame plastic excluder?

It's makes no difference at all but it really annoys me the plugs aren't painted , there's no way you'll be able to match the colour later either .

haha..I can see why that is annoying. They do actually sell tins of the their colour paint but might still be a shade out. I much prefer everything unpainted
