Briargate is the sweet spot for ordinary people of reasonable means , esp if you get a house without an HOA (there are some).

I agree that Briargate is a really good option for a ton of people. That's actually where my wife and I live!

I just bought in the Rockrimmon neighborhood 2 months ago and definitely agree with this ranking along with the others. Nice list!

I really disagree with your distain with Security/Widefield. The highest crime is definitely in the Knob Hill/ Palmer Park/ Platte and Murray areas. A quick google search can show you the more dangerous areas in the city. However, I did enjoy watching either way. Just feel that you are giving security/widefield a rep it doesn't deserve.

Anything near the Citadel is a hot spot. Security widefield really isn’t horrible. South of constitution you start to see the decline. I live near Palmer park and it’s not great by any means, between the hours of 1100-0500 you see some crazy stuff especially at the Kum & Go on the corner of mazieland and academy.

We are looking to the north part of Cimarron Hills. No kids, and crime maps had it as green (an A for all types). There's a road about the center that seemed to show better to the north and slightly more crime to the south. The price seems pretty good, too. Never had to deal with an HOA before, which seems like it might suck, but most of the houses we've looked at seem to be average price or slightly below. Mainly moving to be near family, but the town seems be the best bang for your buck when looking an hour around Denver.

That’s definitely a solid area! Feel free to call or text me if you have any questions or need anything!

Would totally avoid Knob Hill and Cimmaron Hills due to crime. D38, D12, D20, D49, then D11 for schools. I would get smart on the Builders here too. Several with class-action lawsuits (2), several hundred BBB complaints (1) and questionable business practices (1). Falcon uses a Peyton zip code because they deliver their mail. Falcon is 10 minutes from some good shopping, have their own Rec Centers, and lower taxes.

I totally did forget that whole section! I also probably should have added Banning Lewis as its own area as well🤷‍♂️

Overrated. No Rec Centers. Have to join Fitness Centers that sell more memberships than they have capacity.
