| Poland entered Week 4 of the 2021 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League with an impressive performance to bring down a fighting Canada in three sets and remain on track for a ticket to the Final Four.
Here's the reaction after the game, from the virtual Mixed Zone:
Sharone Vernon-Evans (Canada): "I think we missed some points in crucial moments. We played with one of the best teams in the world with the best serving player in the world - Wilfredo Leon. I think that it's important that we fought hard and that we continued to spike and play well in defence and stay aggressive - when I'm saying about playing aggressive I think this gives us opportunities in the future."
Bartosz Kurek (Poland): "For me it was a restart, because I had a little break inbetween games. We changed our starting line-up a lot, so it was a great feeling to be back on the court and to help my team get another victory. We are happy about it, but the goal remains the same - to be competitive in every game. I think that we played efficiently in attack, we put some pressure in important moments with our serve, especially Wilfredo Leon in the end of the second, but overall it was just how we competed against Canada, because they came out to play and they put a pressure on our side."

they’re in the same club(Perugia). But for sure Vernon will transfer to other clubs because they get new addition in opposite(Anderson).
Anderson Will play as a outside spiker replacing Plotnyski.

Canada was playing very well. Poles poorly and incoherently. It was not a good day for the Polish team. Canadians put pressure on the Poles. And why did they lose? Because Poles are a better team, even when playing poorly. I am Polish and I didn't get to know the Polish team in this match. Maybe it's some kind of fatigue? Maybe collective distraction caused by staying in Rimini? Poles "woke up" only at the end of the third set.

Can any polish fans tell me why Bartman left the NT years ago? He was amazing player
He had a personal conflict with captain, Michal Kubiak, with whom he was best friends up to that time and because he started getting too arrogant towards the rest of his teammates, coach Anastasi decided to remove him immediately. He matured a lot from that time, but couldn't go back to the level he presented at NT so he sort of faded away figuratively speaking.

Man, you'd think that this woman could pronounce Leon's name at least decently since EVERYONE calls him by his name , instead she decided to call him LEEon. Even in english Leon is pronounced LE-ON. You don't believe me? Try pronouncing Lesley the way she's pronouncing his name...LEEsley!! :))) Had to mute the commentary. You'd think she heard by now how to say it correctly...if not, why is she commentating.? (This is a easy name that she's fuckin up)
