Brother, I got a small doubt. We need to submit to Authorities and Masters but submit to Citizens? Do we have any reference which says we need to be submissive to the fellow Citizens? We respect and honor others or love them as much as we love ourselves but being submissive to fellow citizens especially to non-Christians? Our aim is salvation of the souls and for that sake we may suffer for others but it is not being submissive to the fellow citizens I guess. Also even with the officials standing up for God's Truth is very important though they may persecute us sometimes. 1 Peter 3:13-17- And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.
