- FoodFam presenting you the 3rd Episode of Northeast Travel series. In this episode after reaching Shillong we took some rest and got ready to explore the local markets for some food, fun and shopping.
So, We visited police Bazar which is the most famous market in Shillong.. This market was a heaven for me as it was surrounded by so many food stalls, BBQ stalls, local eatery and so much more!

I have been to Shillong 3 times till now ... & my fav is those grilled chicken / pork shops at police bazaar ... just amazing

I grew up in Shillong and let me tell you u should try Chow in Kim Pao restaurant(Police Bazar) It's the best chow ever.. And if you dint eat Aloo muri near Lady Hydari park your street food journey in Shillong will be incomplete..

Northeast has the best and varieties food u can have. Specially Assam has many options in veg for people.
We have lottttts of options either in veg or non veg... Not like other states, whenever u go to a hotel.. Only daal, rajma, paneer, curry, gatta
