Ι have turtles and I mean this in the nicest way but please don't let the water turn like this again. They might develop an illness, the water is really dirty. The altar is really beautiful, thank you for sharing this.
GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!! You are just so precious,so happy i found you! There is just something about you that seems so familiar and homey. Thank you for being you
I love that you can still work and be proud of your tiny space. My altar lives in a messy wardrobe and I really feel disheartened by it and feel like it's hard to work with. Bless you doing so well with what you got! You bring me joy 😊
he statue of Lord Shiva is called "Nataraja" or the "Lord of Dances". the dance of Lord Shiva is said to represent the flow of the enir universe and represents the dynamism of the word in which we live in.it also symbolise th development of soul from snare of illusion and ignorance a bit detail, from various sources dating bacl to 12th century works in India dealing with topic:.(taken from wikipedia): The symbolism in the art has been variously interpreted by scholars since the Chola empire era: He dances within an circular or cyclically closed arch of flames (prabha mandala), which symbolically represent the cosmic fire that in Hindu cosmology creates everything and consumes everything, in cyclic existence or cycle of life. The fire also represents the evils, dangers, heat, warmth, light and joys of daily life. The arch of fire emerges from two makara on each end, which are creatures of water and a part of Hindu mythologies. His legs are bent, which suggests an energetic dance. His long, matted tresses, are shown to be loose and flying out in thin strands during the dance, spread into a fan behind his head, because of the wildness and ecstasy of the dance. On his right side, meshed in with one of the flying strands of his hair near his forehead, is typically river Ganges personified as a goddess, from the Hindu mythology where the danger of mighty river is creatively tied up into a calm river for regeneration of life. The upper right hand holds a small drum shaped like an hourglass that is called a ḍamaru in Sanskrit. A specific hand gesture (mudra) called ḍamaru-hasta (Sanskrit for "ḍamaru-hand") is used to hold the drum.[29] It symbolizes rhythm and time. The upper left hand contains Agni or fire, which signifies forces of creation and destruction. The opposing concepts show the counterpoise nature of life. A cobra uncoils from his lower right forearm, while his palm shows the Abhaya mudra (meaning fearlessness in Sanskrit), suggesting not to fear nearby evil, as well as evil and ignorance surrounding the devotee as he or she follows the righteousness of dharma. The second left hand points towards the raised foot which suggests the viewer to be active and dance despite the circumstances, or alternatively as a sign of upliftment and liberation. The face shows two eyes plus a slightly open third on the forehead, which symbolizes the triune in Shaivism. The eyes represent the sun, the moon and the third has been interpreted as inner eye, or symbol of knowledge (jnana), urging the viewer to seek the inner wisdom, self realization. The three eyes alternatively symbolize an equilibrium of three Guṇa: Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. The dwarf on which Nataraja dances is the demon Apasmara purusha (Muyalaka, as known in Tamil), which symbolises action and dance leads to victory over demonic evil and ignorance. The slightly smiling face of Shiva represents his calmness despite being immersed in the contrasting forces of universe and his energetic dance.
I have a few little Altars and one is by my bedside. I love to take a peeky at other peoples altars, their forms of creation and manifestation. YOU REVOLUTIONARY ENABLER [with the little tarot stand] I find the altering of prayers for what works for you inspirational. Ohh I have a peacock ore. I was going through my bedside journal and exactly the same day last month I wrote down I wanted to learn astral projections [Manifesting] so I went to the store, and tuned into crystals that wanted to come home and they are mostly sharing their dream qualities. Thank you for taking us into your space
Oh my goddess, thank you for this video, we had a fire and lost, well everything.. and I went from this huge entire kitchen with a bay window for my morning and daily alter,. Now we live in an apartment and I've had to really change the way I look at things( both physically and with my 3rd eye ).
Thank you so much for sharing your sacred space. What a joy to see all your eclectic sacred objects!!! Your channel was suggested to me by a watcher and I'm blessed to take in your videos! BB
This has to be the most perfect little altar that i've ever seen. It's so unique, so personal this is how I've always felt altars should be. The connection to deity is clearly there, no questions, no bs. Love Love Love it!
oh wow, what a beautiful space, and such gorgeous books & statues and everything! You're very organised too, managing to fit all that in a small space! I keep expanding my altar & still don't have enough room!
+Neoma Bushnell lol i know the feeling! i have little stashes of altar/occult/pagan stuff all over the apartment too lol. im actually kind of a messy person- but i definitely try to keep my altar space organized otherwise its impossible to get all zen and meditate when i leave clutter around it. Thanks so much for watching my love! xoxo
I would really reccommend that you watch Vikings! I an a huge sci fi fantasy lover and it very quickly became one of my favs. Also, I was wondering if you would consider doing a flip through/review of your sacred geometry deck. Sacred geometry has recently been in my face alot and there doesn't seem to be any other videos about a deck out there... Love your videos and your energy!
yeah I'm definitely gonna check out vikings! and thanks for letting me know there's not a lot of Info available on the sacred geometry oracle, I'll get a review/walkthru together for that asap, it's absolutely a favorite of mine! maybe I'll even do some videos about a sacred geometry in general. thanks 4 the inspiration and thanks for watching xoxo
Oooooh yeaaaaah I am such an altar snoop! I love your little setup, and yes, we can make odd cramped spaces work! I don't yet have any statuary on my altar (aside from a Goddess statue I got from Goodwill which I think is supposed to be some sort of cheesy garden flower chick!). Like you, I print out pictures and frame them. Cheap and easy to change around as the mood strikes. I'd lovelovelove to find a book like the Masks of Odin but related to Celtic mythology. Let me know if you come across anything like that!
+PowerFemme lol "altar snoop"- perfect! I love finding altar stuff in random places... it makes them all the more special, its like it found its way to u! Not sure if ur into theosophy at all, but here's a site with links to all sorts of theosophic texts relating to diiferent mythologies, if u scroll down to the european ones, theres some cool stuff up there about welsh and celtic things :O) www.theosophy-nw.org/theosnw/world/general/rel-selc.htm Thanks for watching! xo
This is beautiful! I love that Freyja Statue, I hope to find one for my altar sometime soon. For now I just have a prayer candle that I made for her and an Oracle card ;) Thankyou for sharing your sacred space! I love that you follow a Norse path, watching your videos is teaching me so much and providing some great resources and inspiration! Thankyou!
oh this is so cool- there's a few of us Norse pagans out there huh?!! luv it! I saved up my pennies for that statue and don't regret it for a second- not that it's at all a necessity but it is nice to have a focal point on the altar. I hope to talk lots more about Norse paganism soon too, thanks for watching! xo
Pagyptsian oops, sorry I never saw ur comment, unfortunately the image is actually the front of a greeting card so I'm not sure where to find it online- if it is at all. if u do come across it somewhere tho, plz let me know, it's such a beautiful image! :)
Your altar is gorgeous. I came out of the broom closet this March, so I've only been openly on my Pagan path since earlier this year. I'm eclectic--specifically Christo-Pagan--and I've always had a fascination for Norse mythology. I feel a draw to look into it lately and only vaguely know of it; would you recommend "The Masks of Odin" for someone who's just getting to know the legends in general? It looks like a fantastic book, but I don't want to dive into it yet if I should read other material first. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for sharing your altar. Blessed be.
oh that's awesome and thanks! yeah masks of Odin is a theosophic interpretation of the myths so if ur not well aquainted with theosophy or the myths just yet it might I bit tough at 1st. I do have a whole video of Norse pagan book recommendations up tho, check out the Norse Paganism Playlist. good luck on your journey my friend! And thanks so much for watching :) xo
awesome! I always feel the same way after watching other people's videos like this too. And pictures r the best... plus u can change things up whenever u feel like it! thanks for watching and for the kind feedback :)
Ooooh... Loved being able to have a glimpse at your altar and sacred space. I do so love being able to see people's altars/shrines/sacred spaces if they are willing to share. It is very inspirational! I don't know that my altar space is ready for its time in the limelight yet, but someday I will make a video. Thank you for sharing. Much love!
thanks babe! ... it's time in "limelight" lol, luv it. it is a very personal thing/space, I don't think I would have wanted anyone to see it when I was younger, but I don't mind at all now... hmm wonder why? :)
Thanks for sharing such a sacred space. I love seeing these, and yours really inspired me, as I am just starting on my "journey "and wanting to do my alter and not sure what or how I want to do it. You and others give alot of inspiration to me. I absolutely love you and how down to earth you are. Again Thank you.
aww thanks!! yeah I've heard that from a few other people that I sound like molly lol. I think I'm in good company- I just love her! thanks for watching :)
omg i love ur sacred space! and those/that tingsha(s)! gotta get me a set with that sound - i so felt that chime! i feel real comfortable with ur eclectic spiritual path - i do the same but with more variations (i think) - many past lives i guess or i am just real mixed up lol ;D to me the truth is in so many places and some r just easier for me to learn with from one place than another so i grab a bit here and a bit there and call it good. glad to see u don't let the negatives get to u namaste
Thank you for sharing. I am new to norse religion (about 2-3 months) and I have been feeling sad that I dont have the proper size altar due too the small size of my apartment and seeing your space helped alleviate that. Btw if you still live in philly we should try and connect. I live in Allentown :) skål sister
Nice altar. Inspiring to me actually, as I need to sort something new out for myself. Oh, and I agree, the Merkaba pendulum definitely looks like Carnelian to me too.
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing! Freyja and Frigg are my matron goddesses, mind you I'm still in the process of figuring out how I relate to them as one entity or as two independent entities. Still considering how I process the nature of Frigg's handmaidens, do I think of them as goddesses I want to work with etc etc. I am probably over thinking things LOL. Thank you for the book recommendation!
+jadegrrrl lol i dont think ur over-thiinking things, at least if u are, i certainly do the same thing! you have to think about how u conceptualize them/her/it/us lol. And i personally do think of frigg's handmaidens as aspects of her. God i love finding people that are interested in this stuff...youtube...who knew?!? If u end up reading The Masks of Odin, there's link above, let me know what u thought & thanks so much 4 watching! xo
Thor is my patron! I’m eclectic as well, however mainly follow the norse path. Thor, odin, tyr, achilles, an dagda, cuchulainn, and lugh are the dieties i currently am trying to connect with. But again, Thor is my patron, so i’ve already got him lol. Odin came to me himself. And i know he’s still with me. Tyr i haven’t done anything about yet. Achilles came to me aswell. Dagda chuculainn and lugh haven’t come to me, but have said they are open to working with me. However i feel and see that i’m trying to work with too much at once. So i’ll stick to mainly norse and try to build some connections with Dagda and achilles for now.
Cool video. I am doing a ritual to reach out to Freya this Friday. I am preparing flowers, wine, chocolate, amber and sweet incense. Is there anything else you recommend? Any advice on working with Freya? Cool video. Thanks.
Hi there☺thanks for showing ur altar. I'm fairly new but leaning toward Norse..so far. Also the links that you left for dryad designs (great site btw) and for e- books are awesome! Love free books!!😀
Thank you for sharing. I'm closet baby curious. I'm in SD. Your "fothark" ? the circle black and white red and yellow is similar to the Sioux Indian nation. It's beautiful.
Love your altar!! Also love your voice, made me feel so much at peace! haha also, you totally inspired me to upgrade my little altar! Hope your're still posting videos about paganism
Thanks for the book link. So far in my life I was never called into the norse or germanic mythology. Even though I am german and I live pretty much near a lot of historical places. Before I find out what my pagan path may be, I thought it would be good for me to look into my own birthplace and its history first. So everything I can find for free helps.
aww thanks so much for watching! and yeah I think that'd be fun to talk about, it's an exciting story with twists and turns...well maybe not...lol...but it's probably one other pagans can relate to. xo thanks again :)
Sacred Seed I love your videos so much. Your energy jumps out of the screen it seems like. It's infectious! :) Thank you for the reply, I would definitely love to know your beginnings. I still kind of struggle to define my path and it's always helpful to learn about others, even if it's messy. It helps to reinforce the whole "you're not alone" mentality. :)
Your pendulum looks like a carnelian agate maybe? It looks really red/orangey on my end. :) Citrine would be more yellow. We used to have the same bed and nightstands, and I used to use it similarly, though I had a lamp on the surface too. Its beautiful!
+Jess Johnson YESSSS thats exaactly what it is! jesus that was driving e crazy, thanks babe. i knew it wasnt citrine lol as it was coming out of my mouth, i was like nope thats not right hehee. and go ikea furniture! Thanks for watching and for the crystal identification- u rock xo
Your altar is incredible! I'm fairly new to Norse paganism and Freyja as my deity. Your channel is such a great resource since there are just not a lot of resources about her compared to other deities. 💕✨
+Ixim Liv i love it! i even went thru a phase/period when i decorated the altar with lots of different cards... it turned into madness tho..everytime a breeze came by the altar blew away lol. Thanks for watching xo
this was a very awesome altar! definitely WILL adopt some of your ideas, thanks alot. And at first sight I thought your smudge sticks were bags of weed! XD I busted out laughing until you said what they were!!! lol but once again great altar! Waes Thu Hael!!
You have a nice energy. And also beautiful things you´ve got .....don´t woryy if somethings you like are expensive to get ...life is one and that´s why you work daily to give ypurself anything you like for your own happiness. bye bye.
Oh wow, your're in Philly...I'm right across the river. I lived in the city for a while - in the northeast, near Father Judge. Worked in Philadelphia for years when I was a bartender. Your "card stand" is technically a stand for small pieces of art work....I suppose they can be used for books, or anything, really, but I think the intended use when they were invented was to hold either small unframed paintings or maybe decorative plates etc. What kind of bird do you have? I have a blue front Amazon.
I feel like I'm new to this path evan though I have been practicing for 3 years but I had read somewhere on the internet that Norse Witches do not cut their hair I was wandering if the Gods really care or not if I cut mine or would I be spitting in their faces.
New subber here! I love your energy! Thank you for your altar tour, it is awesomely! I am also a Norse pagan, well, christopagan, so it is nice to meet someone with similar beliefs. ~Many Blessings~
The way you forced that book out of the book sleeve just broke my old bibliophile heart 😳 though it was already chipped (Bad doggie!) ☺️ - But an interesting altar tour nevertheless, thanks for sharing!
Ok im a bit confused here with this whole designation of a specific religious path and also noting eclectic. Please understand im not trying to come across as a smart alex or anything like that. I am truly inquiring and a bit confused, as i am starting my journey on the pagan path and have been trying to determine which specific pagan belief system would best suit me. Through a little research and some reading of various materials i am leaning toward practicing as an eclectic pagan since i have interest in a multitude of different belief systems and would be drawing from certain aspect form different ones , which i believe is what being eclectic is in that eclectic isnt confined to or bound to one specific belief system but borrows and draws from various different systems / religions to build a workable religion that the individual can associate to and work within. I like aspect of the ancient celtic druidic systems as well as shamanistic beliefs and some of the Norse beliefs are interesting as well as some heathenry etc..but I wouldn't be eclectic if i were to associate or identify as one particular type of pagan as that would be the contradiction of being eclectic. if i were for example to claim eclectic druid It would be like stating im a non-denominational baptist. I just can understand how someone can be eclectic and follow a specific path it seems counter intuitive / contradictory.
it can literally be whatever u want! I really liked my picture framed gods at 1st. it started with those and a candle and incense pretty much a 1st. it fun to evolve it as u grow and change. have fun with it and thanks so much for watching :) xo
mine has incense (sandalwood & lavender), a candle holder (haven't officially decided what to do with it yet), a small wooden platform I plan on having statues on it, a box that will hold altar supplies, and a wicker basket as a make-shift offering bowl
I was just wondering if there were certain Gods or Goddesses that had to be honored at certain times or holidays or was it all up to your own interpretation? Furthermore why would I "decide" to be a Norse Pagan when I can't talk about it especially in my own family?
I love everything awesome stuff! You have to check out vikings it is so good I am addicted to that show I cant wait for the next season to come out in september
+Jess Johnson lol i know totally should- i do have a hard time watching fictional things having to do with the old norse and vikings etc sometimes, like the movies about the marvel thor too, i get a little mad almost. i think its cuz its such a personal spiritual subject 4 me. lol its blasphemous! jk :o)
Sacred Seed they are ridonkulously spiritual in the show. Full on praying to deities all the time. Very, very historically accurate names, settlements, clothing etc. I used to be part of the SCA and did medieval reenactment so I was skeptical about it too because I didn't want it to be another Reign (which has sooooo many historical inaccuracies that I can't watch it) but Vikings isn't like that at all. I think you would be impressed, actually. ☺
***** oooo thanks for telling me that actually!! i will definietly give it a go :o) yeah the historical inaccuracies can be overwhelming right lol. i love that ur into medieval reenactment- thats so boss! xo
Was. When i left my abusive ex-husband i stopped going, gave away all my garb and fencing gear. I didn't want to run into him anymore and that increased my chances of never seeing him again exponentially.
I just adore Elle! Her personality is so beautiful, I so wish she would come back and make more videos 😭💔
The mask of Odin it is one of my favourite books ever!! I found it by casualty, it is mean... the gods send it to me!
Thank you for being you
Also i really love seeing other peoples altars, the crafty lady i am squeels with joy every time
I love that you can still work and be proud of your tiny space. My altar lives in a messy wardrobe and I really feel disheartened by it and feel like it's hard to work with. Bless you doing so well with what you got! You bring me joy 😊
he statue of Lord Shiva is called "Nataraja" or the "Lord of Dances". the dance of Lord Shiva is said to represent the flow of the enir universe and represents the dynamism of the word in which we live in.it also symbolise th development of soul from snare of illusion and ignorance
a bit detail, from various sources dating bacl to 12th century works in India dealing with topic:.(taken from wikipedia):
The symbolism in the art has been variously interpreted by scholars since the Chola empire era:
He dances within an circular or cyclically closed arch of flames (prabha mandala), which symbolically represent the cosmic fire that in Hindu cosmology creates everything and consumes everything, in cyclic existence or cycle of life. The fire also represents the evils, dangers, heat, warmth, light and joys of daily life. The second left hand points towards the raised foot which suggests the viewer to be active and dance despite the circumstances, or alternatively as a sign of upliftment and liberation.

The dwarf on which Nataraja dances is the demon Apasmara purusha (Muyalaka, as known in Tamil), which symbolises action and dance leads to victory over demonic evil and ignorance.
The slightly smiling face of Shiva represents his calmness despite being immersed in the contrasting forces of universe and his energetic dance.
this is the cutest video ive ever seen. even as a newbie hellenic polytheist i have to subscribe to you after this adorable altar tour!!
I'm watching Vikings right now I'm ADDICTED! Definitely recommend it lots of Oden & Freya worship and sacrifice ritual and tons more.

I’ve been running into the same obstacle with being able to find an affordable statue, that’s a great idea, maybe even paint my own 💚
Would you mind linking/sending me the image of Freya on a horse please? :)

I agree with the other comment. The pendulum is carnelian. I may have spelled it incorrectly....
You sound like Esmerelda from the Disney hunchback of Notredame love her. I could listen to you chat all day! Your voice is calming
This is stunning, so beautiful and so honest. Very envious of your altar setup :)
Thanks for sharing such a sacred space. I love seeing these, and yours really inspired me, as I am just starting on my "journey "and wanting to do my alter and not sure what or how I want to do it. your pendulum looks like a carnelion stone
*carnelian
i thought so too
Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely altar!! 🖤 Thank you for sharing! Do you have any advise for someone beginning to learn about Norse Paganism? 🤗
Thank you for sharing.
I'm closet baby curious. I'm in SD.
Your "fothark" ? the circle black and white red and yellow is similar to the Sioux Indian nation. It's beautiful.
Really loved the tour thanks for sharing
Stumbled across your channel! Loved seeing your decks and I love birds and I live about 30 minutes from Philly! Craaazy haha
love it! my long lost soul mate lol! thanks so much for watching :) xo
Am so happy Infinally got a copy of The Masks of Odin. It's taking me a bit to get through it but sofar I really like it 😁❤
thank you for all you teachings, you're awesome . love your altar, thought of floating shelves? it would look awesome next to your bed .
Love your altar!! Also love your voice, made me feel so much at peace! haha also, you totally inspired me to upgrade my little altar! Hope your're still posting videos about paganism
LOVE that pillow shaped purse... wow : D
Great altar space! :) I love seeing how others set theirs up.
Michaela Clovis I know right?! I get so much inspiration from seeing other people's altars! thanks so much for watching :) xo
loved ur alter and really like all the pictures
thanks so much! i love finding interesting images to put on the old altar. Thanks so much for watching :) xo
I love your altar space.
aww thanks so much my friend! it was really fun to share my little spiritual sanctuary and sacred space with u guys. thanks so much for watching :) xo
WOW! Thanks for sharing. Beautiful.
Hi, there. This was utterly fascinating. Thank you for sharing this part of your world. Would you be willing to share how you came upon your path?
aww thanks so much for watching! and yeah I think that'd be fun to talk about, it's an exciting story with twists and turns...well maybe not...lol...but it's probably one other pagans can relate to. xo thanks again :)
I love altar peeping...especially on other Norse Pagans. Lovely drinking horn, by the way :)
Sacred Seed so welcome sugar dumplin!
Your altar is incredible! I'm fairly new to Norse paganism and Freyja as my deity. Your channel is such a great resource since there are just not a lot of resources about her compared to other deities. 💕✨
thanks so much!! I love my little sacred space. ooo maybe I'll do a whole Freya video, that'd be fun!! thanks so much for watching :) xo
A Hood erxw
How fun!!! I also use a tarot card in my altar sometimes, thank you for sharing!!

And also beautiful things you´ve got .....don´t woryy if somethings you like are expensive to get ...life is one and that´s why you work daily to give ypurself anything you like for your own happiness. bye bye.
thanks! and truly beautiful advice- thanks so much for watching :) xo
Ooooo so many lovely things !!! 💜💜💜💜
Your wood burning is beautiful, I wish I could do something artistic.
You said "Jesus" in this pagan video, paradox level 3000 😂
Mainstream programming lol
I need this book.
I feel like the size doesn't matter at all if you feel happy with then it's fantastic 💖. I love your videos!!! 😍

The little ritual cymbals are called tingsha.
Hi Sacred Seed. I love the sound of that bell. Where did you get that? I want one!!!! Blessed Be.
What a Fucking Awsome .Cute altar
i really need how to make one like yours
Lol, my odd ball altar items are vintage troll dolls and a lady gnome from David the gnome 😁
lol! I love it! glad I'm not alone with the random "oddball altar items." trolls and tucans... lmao. thanks so much for watching :) xo
~Many Blessings~
welcome! aww thanks so much- so cool!! Thanks for watching :o) xo
The way you forced that book out of the book sleeve just broke my old bibliophile heart 😳 though it was already chipped (Bad doggie!) ☺️ - But an interesting altar tour nevertheless, thanks for sharing!
lol yeah that book has seen better days, hence the leather cover. thanks,so much for watching :) xo
A bodhran! Love it! I hope I spelled it right
Here in Switzerland we have even a ( Norse, asatru pagan ) Chappell
really nice for peoples who belives in the Norse gods
I just can understand how someone can be eclectic and follow a specific path it seems counter intuitive / contradictory.
any advice for a simple altar set up?
it can literally be whatever u want!
BEAUTIFUL!
Great video thanks for sharing
do a room tour
Hello I'm a recent convert to the Norse faith and I was wondering if you could talk about hen to honor which Gods and Goddesses
I was just wondering if there were certain Gods or Goddesses that had to be honored at certain times or holidays or was it all up to your own interpretation? Furthermore why would I "decide" to be a Norse Pagan when I can't talk about it especially in my own family?
11:04 looks like carnelian ❤
The cover after of dog's job looks more natural 😉
How amazing
awesome alter
You are beautiful and I love your energy!
Hello pretty witch, great altar, blessed be )○(
I’m an eclectic Norse wiccan too 🥰
ooh thank you. loved being nosey. x
I love everything awesome stuff! You have to check out vikings it is so good I am addicted to that show I cant wait for the next season to come out in september
Love it!
It's a carnelian stone :)
Wait, YOU HAVEN'T SEEN VIKINGS??!!! O.O
You have to go watch NOW!!!! :D
