He streams on shorts because it attracts more viewership since livestreams get inducted into shorts feed, and therefore brings in more money. It’s purely a business decision.

I missed the actual stream but I've got two small mod suggestions: Inventorio (frees up inventory slots, though it does require a bit closer attention paid to your tools), and Sophistocated Backpacks (Mainly for inventory management; only uses vanilla items, and can stack up incredible amounts of items in a single slot)
