This is precisely what I thought of when looking at these meat-shredding horror movie looking pegs. They live up to their 'Raptor' name for sure. Do they shread boots?
I tried Fastway footpegs and lowering it caused my boot to catch on the brake lever when moving to use the rear brake, landing etc tore up the boot on the inside. I run SIDI so the replacement boot parts were available.
Ordered the raptor foot pegs 5mm bk Just waiting for delivery £240 I'll write review if it's good investment or not I ride 3 hour enduro races,just hoping they keep my feet pointing inwards for better grip of the bike
I’m extremely bow-legged so it’s very tough for me to have my feet against the frame. The legs are slightly tapered up on the outside, so the promote you to pinch your knees in more and it slightly pushes your feet away from the bike.

Why did you choose the open peg vs the stock style option?
And how are those tech 10 soles holding up with the rapor pegs?

Am I the only one who noticed while they ride there feet are about a inch from the frame do to the foot peg bracket ?
