They are really good, the only downside is they don't provide a roasting tray, but there is a way to overcome this. I did a roast chicken in mine and I lined the glass turn table with greaseproof paper beforehand. I roasted a small chicken and it took 32 minutes, and the results were perfect. I had to remove the legs as it was a bit over the maximum weight but once they were taken off it was just right. I just wrapped them and put in the freezer for another day. The overall result was a super crispy skin and very moist meat, there was no smoke either. You have to read the instructions on how to roast the chicken as you start it off breast side down to start with and when the oven bleeps you have to turn it breast side up. My overall rating is 10/10

I got mine yesterday. There are loads of videos showing how to unbox it (I fond that part very easy, maybe I'm just cleverer than I thought). But no videos of people cooking with it. Which is worrying, maybe the problem with the manual is making people a bit nervous of actually putting food in it.

I bought one of these yesterday and that was going to be my question also. I would imagine that if they can be used in combo mode then they can be used in microwave mode also, but still not sure. Did you ever find out?
