PENCIL TALK REEL

This ten minute clip attempts to show the birth of 'Pencil Talk' in the Laramie, Wyoming area.
The idea was to create a professional aura around players from all across the country. In this setting the community was able to see a behind the scenes view to get to really know the players on the team they were rooting for each night.
The Laramie area had not had a baseball team to rally around in close to two decades. The Gem City Bison in its inaugural year featured a team of 30 young men from 12 different states. The 'Pencil Talk' interview created a bridge in order to show in a genuine authentic light these incredible athletes in a pre or post game interview. Or as you can see sometimes during the ballgame.
All the while, these interviews created a bond between the town and the team going viral, in an intimate small town kind of way.
This platform also allowed Jack Delongchamps the ability to chase his dream to work in sports media, in a professional yet wildly goofy way.
