As someone that has played on a world level tourney before (even tho its from another game) im noticing people doesnt understand that Canada winning the US has nothing to do with germany, like i heard people saying on the twitch chat "they won us and are losing against germany wtf". On a tournament with this level of pressure, everyone can win, Germany played so good and u can actually see that they practiced a lot their confort picks and people think canada played bad, but thats not it AT ALL!! They got such good scores, like there were like 1-3 1x misses every map it was incredible to watch such scores from both teams in such a high pressure ambience... Keeping that level of performance that much its admirable from both teams honestly, gg!!
not only this, historically Germany has always had a higher skill ceiling than Canada. If you look at previous owcs: 2019 finals: 7-0 2020 grand finals: 7-0 2021 semi finals: 6-2
"everyone can win" are you sure about that? "germany practiced a lot" we they should have i hope, if canada didnt for some reason then its skill issue on their part. "on a tournament with this level of pressure" there are players who played owc for years and many tournaments in general, nerves control is a skill they actively practice and good at, if you cant control nerves skill issue again. at the end only thing would be what time each team playled at and the amount of sleep they got, but germany did great and canada did not deliver so i wouldnt say they did something great. also would like to mention they barely got 1 point, you dont loose that bad cuz of not practicing a map enough, like if you cant play ar10.5, 5 days of practice wont make you consistent on that, so yeah practice all you want but the skill needs to be there beforehand. Its very likely that canada players were not in the best physical shape.

I have to say that doesnt matter how many times you play at a level like this the nerves will still be in play for everyone and there is people that never gets nervous or that gets used to it pretty quick but i have to say that there is also people (like me xd) that never gets used to it. Perform on the maps he plays And sure he did pop off against the USA but that was last week, all their main carries performed poorly. And not due to sickness@@sandou_osu
to add on another guy, when people say a team picks a free mod it means that there will have to be people that uses both hidden and hardrock and so those will be the times where theres people upside down than the others.

its from a mod called hardrock, where it flipped notes upside-down, approaching circles went faster, and smaller notes
to add on another guy, when people say a team picks a free mod it means that there will have to be people that uses both hidden and hardrock and so those will be the times where theres people upside down than the others.
