I'm one of MS_Paints Ewoks, so I thought this would be an ideal video to put on in the background to get my Legionary Kill Team finished. It was so engaging that I ended up painting the grand sum of fuck all. Daves attitude and charisma just kept on shining through, and this whole thing just felt like I was the 5th man at a pub table with a bunch of mates just chatting about everything and anything. Great stuff!
Vince's stuff is just fantastic. He doesn't just say what to do, but he actually talks about and shows *how* to do it - the physical movement of the brush, the little tricks and ways to think about how the paint and the model behaves. There's a vibe of "I know you're here watching because you're actively interested in this, so I'm not gonna condescend to you; I've done a lot of work breaking down and understanding why I do these things that have helped me win awards, and I'm doing this video because I love talking about and communicating those things as part of this craft that we all enjoy." Reminds me a lot of the (good) art professors I had at uni.
That's why i LOVE watching MS_Paints, because he does not make his videos, in a manner, where he's talking down to the audience, but showing us whatever it is he wants to show us, in a great down to earth manner.
I´m sure you guys will never read it, but I just wanted to say that I´m really thankful for your videos and the ideas about painting you push with them. I´m quite clumsy. But after seeing your videos I went "Ey, I can actually do that. That doesn´t seem that hard". It was the push that I needed to get into painting, and I´m loving it.

The volume of good stuff condensed in the podcasts PP has produced is second to none. Extendend conversations with MWG Dave, Stephen Box, MS Paints and so many more, not to mention old dogs from GW. This is the best combination of a slice of life and inside baseball that I never knew I needed in my life.
Honestly, the interaction between you guys is the best. You all just riff on things and it's a fun way to spend an hour painting. Plenty of times where I stop and just crack up laughing. Plus you all have good taste in guests!

A stargate game would be soo massively goated, imagine all the factions, all the different goa'uld systemlords and their aesthetics and all different characters from all over.
It's purely to stop TH-cam age restricting the video, if you have too much swearing in the beginning they'll either flag t or suppress it in the algorithm. Annoying but understandable 😃

Epic chat with MS_Paints! I really enjoyed this one, it was excellent background conversation and after about 5 min I cracked out the paints and spent the whole episode painting away while listening in, heres to many more side-tracked guest chats in the future! Peachy and MS_Paints, you can still get 4Ground terrain kits too, their parent/sister company tymeagain still exists (its all a bit wiered as its not the first time they went bust) and carries a most of the old mdf range.
Best one yet, audio was great as well despite more people. Really good job lads. More of the videos with swearing please, makes it more fun to watch, feels more human.
The problem with the swearing, is if we don’t censor it, it hits us in the wallet and that new audio that we’ve got cost a lot of money. So we try and stay more ‘family friendly’ or produce less/lower quality work. We’ve had to take a hit on Dave’s video, revenue wise but he was worth it.
in terms of X-Com style games, a few years ago Archon Studio produced a game called Chronicle X, its exactly that. Except it's set in the 80s. I don't know if they sell it direct from their store anymore but it can be found on eBay for reasonable prices. great minis.
I pretty much cried with laughter throughout that whole video , absolutely brilliant . Geoff if you haven't already seen it they do have a clip of chewie talking about Obi Wan when they are in the deathstar .
MS Paints' production value is immense. He has those special effects that make stuff on Netflix pale by comparison. Ok, that does not set the bar very high, but his videos are amazing none the less.
Both of your channels are at the core of my TH-cam viewing. Just know that click bait or not, I seek out the new videos and watch them. Always like, and usually comment. Keep up the great work!
