It's not so much VR as the game design. For example, Half-Life: Alyx is very, VERY good at making it easy to know what or where you're grabbing. Granted, Alyx had a big development team with lots of money and Into The Radius is trying to do a LOT more complex mechanics. This, in turn, means that there's a much higher chance of mishaps as the player needs to remember a myriad of specific hand controls for various tasks. In a critical situation, the player's performance is going to deteriorate, especially if the hand controls and the UI design is working against them. There's no denying, however, that I feel Into The Radius would absolutely benefit from a more organized backpack system. I get it - they wanted a natural feel to both storing items on the player themselves (vest, belt, etc.) as well as in the backpack. And the vest works great (most of the time). The backpack is another story. :)
@MetalCanyon into the radius has a tiny skill curve, it's gonna make you panic whenever an enemy shows up suddenly for a few hours. I personally love the backpack system, but I guess for some people an alternative backpack system would be like the walking dead saints and sinners.
@@MetalCanyonahhh so red light degrades your night vision less, green will slightly degrade it more but is easier to see more detail with it and goes further.
The shaking of the screen is really bad for me it's giving me headaches so I can't really watch this :/ I don't have VR but I think some people mentioned there is a way to stabilize it, so it looks just like a regular fps game for us but it's still regular VR for you. I don't know if it works for all games or what though I just know "Gopher" used that on his streams. You may want to look into it if it's not too difficult to setup. Maybe I'm the only one that's bothered by this though so in that case ignore me I'm being weird :D
:( The inherent problem with stabilization is that it effectively cuts off a portion of the screen (zooms in) to have the margin available for stabilizing of the image. And with a game like Into The Radius - where it's already zoomed in quite a bit for some reason - it's going to make a tiny hole through which the videos would be watched. Sucks...
TH-cam suggested either you or some guy named "a wolf in VR". From experience It's always preferable to go for the low-viewcount European, rather than the over-enthusiastic performative furry. Looking forward to the playthrough.
I have a tipfragment should have a straight center mass shots.
Very interesting. Keep up the great work, MC
Thank you!
It just seems like VR still has quite a few things that need to be improved. You can tell from the number of times Canyon asks, "What am I grabbing?"

I've played some of this game, (about a week into it) and honestly, I can't play it cause it scares TF out of me. Goodluck MC! Best wishes.
Thanks! :)
Hahaha... he's good at jump scares and scary games....noooot 😂😂
The reason the lamp you found is red is most likely because red light doesn't mess your night vision nearly as much as regular white light.
True. But I also found some green lights around. :)

@@PreacherBro Ah, thanks!
@@MetalCanyonyou can switch between green and red
@@hellojacobw4151 Didn't know that, thanks!
This is interesting, hope you play more MC.
Absolutely. :)
I love how the inventory is managed in this game, as opposed to the industry standard skeuomorphic design
Wait there a name for that?!?
Operation mega hoarder: Commence!
YES!
I do remember half life to be a lot more stable indeed.
This is really cool
It's a lot of fun. :)

Enjoy!
A wolf in vr did state he’s not a furry. He says it because it reminded him of a phrase “ a wolf in sheep’s clothing”.
