Very informative but not everyone has bad experiences like you said. I went 3-4 times to the hospital twice in an emergency and twice on an appointment, was given proper medicines and also a nasal spray, puff to stabilize my breathing which I didn't had to pay for as well because of the medical insurance. Yes the ambulance takes a lot of information but that is because they need to know what patient the staff in the ambulance will be dealing with so the patient can be given prompt aid. They also have to see who they can send from their end depending on the criticality of the situation. It was the same in Pakistan, karachi because I had to call an ambulance many times for my father in the last 5 years, they would ask every detail even to check his pluse and tell me the do's and don'ts, plus they would keep calling back on every 5 minutes intervals to check his condition and to see if the ambulance has reached or not. Infact I remember the last time they did not keep the phone till the ambulance reached and kept on guiding me on how to give CPR to him. Life is not easy anywhere it is just how we deal with it.
