The handles are the wrong way around at 5:50 . The trigger needs to be pointing upwards and the grip on the other side goes in the opposite direction. Leaving it your way will pivot the motor down and the head upwards.
I have a problem with the 3 hiled aluminium barcket that fixes the guard on, the one that stick out is in the way of the 2 black screws on the neck. When i try to put the guard on, one of the 2 neck screws get in the way, when you were putting the strimmer guard on the head, did you have to take off a screw near the neck ,put it through the aluminium guard bracket on then rescrew the thing on,
Hi , I got it sorted. The supplied allen key wasn't strong enough to loosen the bolt, i actually ruined the allen key trying to undo the bolt,. So I was thinking mabye this neck bolt wasn't meant to be undone, but I used a longer Allen key for more leverage and managed to get it undone. All good now, thanks.
I had this problem. You need to insert the shaft so the button lines up with the gap, then turn it. It is very fiddly. There is a TH-cam video that shows you how to do it
@@Bazball1080 thanks Baz I have watched all the videos and it looks straight forward BUT i can't get the lower section drive rod to go into the top section of the drive rod.
@@husondiy i have eventually , Michael from customer care has helped . He provided a replacement shaft connector. The female part of the connector hadn't been machined and therefore the splined bottom shaft would not fit.
@@iansmith7619 You just need to pull the ring on the collar where the shaft joins the body, and turn the shaft until you hear the pin click into the hole in the collar and then let go of the ring.
Great, thanks for your video!!! Mines just arrived today,,put together now waiting for rain to stop😊
Nice!!!! It's a powerful machine! Have fun!!
Also you don’t need to pull the string out manually just smack the head on the floor and rev the engine up
Legend!! Cheers for the tip

Hi Ian. Have you managed to sort it yet?
