Now the usual rule for western Streams is that, unless you work for a Company based in a country where streaming rules are different, you're free to stream the entirety of a game once it releases in your country, unless the Developer/Publisher pushes out a notice that limits how much of the game you can stream until a certain point in time (ATLUS anyone?) or forbids streaming of the game until it is available worldwide. Nintendo at the time did NOTHING of the sorts, thus allowing the game to be streamed from a lot of countries before it released in other parts of the World. The bans mostly affected Streamers that stream in english so one can see where Nintendo came from. The fact that Nintendo of America was the one issuing the ban appeals cements the point that (once again) Nintendo America thought they're the branch that matters above the other ones, even Japan.
