Hey, Mr. Shredder: I started watching this video six (6) minutes after you posted it. By the time it ended, it had one hundred forty-four (144) views. that guitar is freaking awesome. That graphic work is first rate. Nice jam you did too. If the artwork and the hardware were not planned ahead to match, that's what I'd call destiny. I'll go as far as to say, in my opinion, that is the best looking and most cutting edge designed guitar you own. Richard James hit that one outta the park!
The white binding looks amazing and IMO complements the maple neck beautifully!

I think the binding helps with the print. I don't think they would want to do the print without the binding.

Love the guitar, it does have that 80's vibe to it. Hint for the tuners: Get yourself a set of deep well sockets, it makes doing work like that a lot faster - and safer from damage!
Both your custom made Rykatas look killer! Great upgrade with the red/gold tuners. I personally love the binding, really pulls together with the maple neck. Turned out great, I'd buy them both🤘🍻

That is a cool looking guitar, really like the graphics. I would keep the black string trees otherwise if you go with gold, you would have to go with a gold bridge and strap buttons. I have found that usually a socket wrench is a lot easier to use when changing the tuners usually a 10 mm with less chance of scratching or damaging the bushings.
Digging these guitars, keeping my fingers crossed for a Rhoads inspired shape.

Awesome guitar! I put Guyker tremolo's and locking tuners on all my mods and builds. The tremolo and locking tuners really improve the intonation ease and quality.

I ordered a custom Explorer from IYV last year after watching one of your videos and swapped out the stoptail, bridge, and tuners with Guyker equivalents after a while, and thought, with how little those cost, these guitars should come with Guyker hardware to begin with lol
Richard, the Guitar looks absolutely beautiful! Do you know the reason why those tuners look so similar to Gotoh, because they are in fact made by Gotoh in their Korean factory. They also make the Floyd Rose Special, 1000, and Floyd Rose 1500 series tremolo in the Korean factory as well as many other brands OEM Tremelos. ☮️💜😊

I did a magnet swap on a 13.5k bridge humbucker recently to an alnico 2 to turn it into a wolfgang/evh voiced pickup. Should re purpose that IYV humbucker you might like it. Also killer custom love those graphics. 👍🐯🐉

In the future you will find a 1/4“ drive 6 point deep well socket attached to a 1/4" nutdriver (screwdriver) 🪛 handle far superior for installing guitar tuners. It's much better, faster, and easier. Plus it will prevent scratching the tuner you're installing, the tuners either side of the tuner you're installing, or the headstock from being damaged and/or scratched. The 6 point deep well socket will not jump a tooth the way a 12 point sometimes can and damage the nut on the tuner. Try this once and you'll never install tuners any other way ever again. You only need 2 deep well sockets, 10mm metric and 3/8" inch standard.
Let me know what you think after you've tried this.

Sorry dude, but we never had guitars like that back in the 1980s. We had to paint our own guitars by hand. BUT, That is a very nice looking guitar you got ! Congrats!
By the way, here is a tip for all you guitar+artists. Create an image you want to print on a guitar body using Gimp or Photoshop. Take that image in a usb-pen and Go to your
local photocopy store and have them print it out on an A3 size page in glossy Vinyl paper. After that, cut out the image to the size of your guitar body and stick
on it your cool image. Its that easy to create your own unique guitar and it cost you 8 to 10 euros/dollars. I often print out my own vinyl stickers for my guitar mods on
an A4 glossy paper for 4 euros a page.
Those string trees are HUGHGE! Also weird to see how they are not between the high E and B string but i guess that's because of the offset of the headstock :)

That graphic top is awesome. Do you have any idea how they're printing that? I assume it's maybe something like a vinyl graphic they print (like a sign shop would print) then they glue/veneer it on the body perhaps in a little vacuum chamber so the graphic gets sucked down on the body. They may have added the binding to help the edge transition of the custom graphic?
