As a veteran, as a playtester, as someone that just loves this game I can state that this is the BEST patch EVER realised for this game. MA (the new devs) are really folks like us. They are really dedicated players, and they know what the game needs. The hard times are (almost) over. Expect a game better than what you have ever imagined. New contents, polished (and new) game modes, 100 players servers and so on. The future is bright babies!

I always play Logi as a defender and it sucked when they introduced the patch that made building anything useless because of the 400 metre exclusion zone and what not however, i gotta say its a blast with the recent update, makes defending a whole lot easier and grateful for the optimisation that came with it as well. glad they've listened to the feedback from logi players! - RayNorthKnight.

as a logi main who hasnt played since it was branded as Squad 44, I was nervous about negative changes to Logi. I'm happy to hear things might have been improved!
They did. Some restrictions on placements for better server stability, but it's fun again. Plus they said they'll keep improving still.
Very fun needs tiny tweaks regards hab overrun but otherwise its solid
I don't know if this was added yet, but something i always felt missing was an ammo crate or something that allows you to CHANGE KIT. Like, for example, you chose the wrong kit, but you don't want to die and lose a ticket to change it. At least in Main Base, that would be awesome. And realistic (to be able to change your own guns, according to the squad's need). Or let's say you Radioman just left, and you want someone to take the role; you wouldn't need to wait for someone to die anymore.
(This is something very used in Squad.)
yeah you are right kit swap option would be nice so you dont have to suicide for it.

Would love a guide to building defensive structures on a point. I love playing logi and making a superfob after frontline fobs have been sorted.
I like how they said the half bunker was useless, but that was my number one go to buildable LUL. now I don't really build anything, cost to much, except for an ammo box.

best update for like 5 years ever. the game needs to run believable on hardwares which do have high specs. i hope this isnt the only performance fix but its really there with Squad and HLL on my system. Clocked 14 hours today of squad 44 gaming straight nonstop. its really smooth and the recent changes really make it much more playable for me.

@@Marcelino1098 i swear, literally waaay too bright and feels like washed out. Seriously like a freaking Water colour painting. And i'm speaking as a veteran player in this game since beta testing of the very first launch with 2.5k+ hours.
I never had severe performance issues, but I did notice a little less stuttering in some situations.
So I can't comment on that a ton, but I must say that these changes and updates are really exciting. And I'm plugging the game to all of my friends who won't buy it because they're arcade shooter cowards.
But I am happy to see the dev team responding to feedback, changing the game in ways that both increase performance and keep the identity and playstyle only minimally changed or unchanged.
I am a relative noob to the game with I think 100 or slightly fewer hours, but I played Logi a little lately and asked people how they felt about things. Most everyone was excited to see these changes and feel they're the right direction.
Amazing what can happen when devs listen to the people who play the game. And logistics is the backbone of every game, so pissing them off is unwise.
Optimization is extra
How come every time I open the game there’s only like 1 server available and it’s maxed out on players? I rarely ever get to play. And if I do it’s German comms and I don’t k ow what is going on. Lol
The game is dying and failing, these guys are doing everything in their power to save the game while it's burning like a dumpster fire in the background.
For years there was always 2 servers minimum or NA. Now last night there was 1 NA and 1 EU on a friday night. After a major patch with so much praise from the supporters. It's an echo chamber on discord, yet the numbers speak for themselves.
Well i dont really care about the trucks and junk i care about its playability im not sure about now but i quit playing cause it would crash on me constantly even with a 4080 i should of been able to play it but i couldnt so if that isnt fixed honestly no point in trying but ill see i guess if im able to play it with little to no lag and no crash then its game time for me but not many people are playing the game and from what i hear almost no servers if any
you need to try now... the game has been VASTLY optimized! that's the thing, they had to untangle code done by amateurs, and the problem lied within the coding of the logi trucks..
Try it now, people are reporting HUGE performance increases. And, like all OWI-core games, you should clear your cache after each update. This USED to be widely announced, I don't know why not as much anymore.

And i would love to squad up but ill have to wait to do that with anyone till i get a new headset i accidently broke mine when it fell off the desk and i tried to catch it. And thats pretty exciting thanks for the invite iv only played with one other youtuber many many years ago back in 2014 a guy named shakeNbake unfortunately he gave up on making content in 2018.
@@boogie5 hey yo thats amazing played a few games which then turned into 7 games roamed around by myself cause of lack of headsets but absolutly amazing not one issue 60FPS for me no lag no stuttering accept for 1 time but most of all no crash not once

Thats why I dont trust these updates promises anymore, my game looks awful and runs a lot worse after this "Optimization" update. My game was fine in the previous one, now FPS is low and very unstable.
My performance is the same as U1 which is to say it's basically the worst optimization this game has ever seen since 4.27 nuked frame rates. People are praising the game for performance because they fixed a huge game breaking bug (when the game lost 10 fps for each logi/inf vehicle on the map) and now performance is the same without any noticeable improvement.
It's just mindless shilling to promote the game that's on deaths doorstep. Fortnite coloring scheme and a terrible meta with poor performance. You won't hear that from the minority supporters ever! To them the game is alive and well, but don't check steamcharts!
**Patch, not update **
Still a sad state of the game sorry to say, I've tried to like it and 1 MSP just can't remedy what the logi update broke. Games in total disarray, it's going to take a miracle for this game to recover. 2 full servers on a friday after this patch, worse than ever. I remember when 2 servers were a minimum per time zone. It's a step in the right direction, but they took 10 steps back from where the game was.
2 MSP still superior game design. People don't want to spend 1 minute to build a FOB that MSP provided without build time. People aren't excited to dig a spawn, it should be like HLL and SL can solo build a spawn with 3 second timer.
Lastly, you can't replace the experienced players who left, the game is a noticeable barren and absent wasteland, lacking action from the lack of spawns. Some of the worst games have been since the greyhound update. Doubt I'll ever come back honestly. They've done irreparable damage already. You can't just bring back old players to fix the game and that's what this game needs most now than ever. People are constantly pissed and bickering in in-game chat, it's a disaster!

You can't say nuking performance and then restoring it improved performance, that's low hanging fruit and a blatant lie. Your short term memory is awfully short considering its only been 6 weeks.
You're not in any position to tell people how they should feel when you time after time display robotic toxic positive behavior and continually have tunnel vision about the state of the game. You supported the greatest decline in the game since it's revival. It's comedic gold if it weren't actually sad.
You blame the population decline on crashing, not the logi update. You support the changes when the population is below no development team levels after 2 major updates and a patch.
Then you say be happy because we get updates, when they're the sole reason why the game is failing.
I don't believe we live in the same world or universe because you think any change is good for the game, when it's been shown to be objectively false and why the game is crumbling before our eyes. 1 server last night for NA/EU each on a friday night after a game restoring patch! LOL

You can't say performance increased when they butchered it back to normal from the first update. You guys really take all the low hanging fruit you can grab. These updates are why player numbers are below no developer team levels currently. Soon you can play the game by yourselves and have a circle jerk of a time!

The game code was held by a duct tape.
The player numbers are on similiar numbers like in 2019 and some changes have been reverted example msp removal.
Logistics got huge buff but still you hate the game? Thats on you. You dont like to build stuff thats on you. I like to build and have teamwork. Needs some tweaks still but heading towards right direction.
Dead game? Played on full server 12 hours yesterday.
I can not yell other than some of the lighting and clarity looks way better, now...however I have not played a US server yet.....never any room in them and hardly any......so I have lots of stutters and stuff, can't tell if it's the optimization or...the fact that I'm playing French, German or China Servers. Effin Drag man.
