Oh no! You’re leaving. You have to come back in Mindo one day to go to Mindo Lindo to see the hummingbirds and to my friend’s Cabaña Armonia y Jardin de Orquideas. You can take a tour of the hotel garden to see a lot of different orchids. Taty and her mother know a lot about them and you can also see hummingbirds there, toucans, motmots and other birds
Safe travels to Peru nice place but so little to see besides Cuzco, Nazca and the dessert and I can see you returning to Ecuador there’s no other place in the world with so much diversity. Great video of Mindo!!!
Ecuador is great because because everything is relatively so close. But it is silly to say there is only three things to see in Peru... It's a huge country full of magic.
Love your thumbnail! I want one like that 🥰 birdwatching can be fun. We love chocolate tasting yummy. We visited a butterfly conversation in Niagara Falls and I (Gladys) was in heaven. Nice video guys. 🥰😉

Ecuador a Beautiful Country 🇪🇨 as usual . . . In case of traveling to Peru 🇵🇪 check places in the Northern Area as Kuelap Ruins a pre-inca culture. Also beautiful Gocta Waterfalls , Moche Culture ( 2 thousands years old , including the marvelous museums + caballitos de Totora ) , Chimu Culture ( ChanChan Ruins ) , Cajamarca ( and its Baños del Inca, hotwaters ) . . . Tombs in the cliff of Mountains as Karajia , Sonche Canyon , Moyobamba and the Land of Orchids , Caral and the Oldest Civilization in America . . . Chavin de Huantar as the Sacred Place before MahcuPicchu , + a lot o beautiful small towns as Chachapoyas, Chiquian, Chacas, etc. It all only in the NOrthern area. Excluding the wild big Pacaya Samiria National Reserve deep in the Jungle . . .
You are Welcome to Peru . . . Once you are here, eating the Gastronomy is a must do. Ceviche , Lomo Saltado, Papa Rellena, Anticuchos, Picarones, Mazamorra Morada, Chicha MOrada, Caldo de Gallina, Alfajores, etc. Pachamanca, Cuy Chactado, Chicha de Jora, etc, etc. endless list
Are you flying to Peru or taking a bus from Ecuador? Me and my partner are in Ecuador right now and would prefer to take a bus as it is cheaper, but apperently land borders are closed. Great videos btw!
We will definitely be visiting all those spots! We worked and saved everything since university. And now we make money from collabs and personal support from viewers :)
I'm technically scheduled to vacation in the Quito area this month, but what with all the lock downs and restrictions, and increased prices of things there since they had to cut max capacities, I might cancel and stay in the US. I dunno. Looks pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Obviously travelling is a very personal opinion (especially during the pandemic), but for the record, we currently aren’t experiencing any lockdowns, restrictions or increased prices in Ecuador.
@@EricandSarah really? I heard you have to wear masks and the price for vans went up cuz the max occupancy was reduced. What part are of Ecuador are you in now?
@@hereticsaint100 Well yes, masks are worn at all times (we've just gotten used to that I guess haha). But otherwise, we feel like life is normal in most places. We don't have anything to compare to pre-pandemic, but we find transportation to be very reasonable and most tours/hotels to be discounted because they're so desperate for tourism.
i love to do birdwatching. `just dont support these people that have this kind of bucket filled with water mixed with sugar for hummingbirds , thats causing hummingbirds to die of diabetes
Would you consider modifying the TH-cam subtitle configurations on your channel to allow for language toggling? We're a multilingual family, and typically gather around for viewing on a big screen via a Roku. If a channel doesn't set this up in advance, we're not able to "auto translate" as one can on a p/c. You may be familiar with Ayngelina's channel. If you're not, here's one of her recent videos. th-cam.com/video/TKroRtlo0oc/w-d-xo.html I've asked her how she does this. She explained 2 techniques. The simple way is to let TH-cam determine what you're saying in a video, and allow them to translate it to the languages you choose. The other fashion is to upload a text file to tell TH-cam exactly what you're saying, and have a more precise translation. To be clear, we're not asking you to take the time to submit a Text file, however would you be kind enough to allow TH-cam to display subtitles in Spanish (Ideally Latin American Spanish)? It would facilitate a happy harmony for us to watch more of your videos in a group setting, and we'd be very appreciative. Have a great day, Pedro
Hi, thanks for explaining this. Unfortunately, TH-cam will only auto-generate one set of subtitles and because our channel is in English, that is the language it will do for free. Translating to Spanish would require us to do so manually (or pay someone to do so). It is something we would love to do in the future though!
@@EricandSarah Thanks for your response. You're right, however after allowing TH-cam/Google to auto-generate the subtitles, if you go back in under settings, you can choose how many additional languages you'd like to have displayed. You wouldn't have to pay anyone, or manually type it in. Thanks for looking under the configurations hood.
