Is this supposed to show that Fiona is the Crazy One because she tried to give Lip some rules to live by?
That’s what annoyed me. Everything she did, she did for a reason. She may be their sister, but she was also their parent and I feel as though because Fiona wasn’t an official parent, she gets so much shit when she tries to parent her siblings. Fiona wasn’t wrong here. She could have handled things differently, yes, but I don’t see how her wanting Lip to go to college (an Ivy League at that) was a bad thing
@@whosaprettykitty5076 EXACTLY!!! She takes care of them, puts food on the table , they expect her to do everything right without making mistakes and the second she tells them to follow some rules she is the bitch.
@@whosaprettykitty5076 Agreed! She was allowed to be the "parent" when it came to financially supporting them but whenever she gave parent advice and tough love she was stepping out of line. I know Lip really loved Karen and wanted to be there for her, he really believed the baby was his but he was willing to throw his whole life away to help raise a baby that possibly wasn't even his for a girl that didn't love him. Fiona wasn't wrong.
@@Bella-Mae0422 Lip wasnt in love. He was a Teenager with an inflated ego who didnt want to risk not being the smartest guy in the room. He just looked for a reason to quit and fiona saw right through it

well the person who made the Uk shameless writes the US one so i wouldn't say they 'stole' it, thats a minor thing too, i think you should give the show a chance, i know americans have ruined many shows when they remake them but this time they haven't.

Seriously all us girls ever say is we want a guy that does what we want. I can tell you that's BS because in the end we want someone who is smart, funny, protective but mostly his own person. Oh and BTW the UK version really is shit. This one is wat better!

Yeah hardly any girl wants to end up with a simp. We want a man that hears us and listens and understands us but at the same time has his own life and follows his passion too.

proper reasons? Well first off almost all the decent characters are long gone, current characters are dull as fuck. The UK show started off as a dark comedy about a family struggling to survive, it was gritty and fun. Now its a so called comedy with cheesy soap opera like drama. The US version stopped using the same plots as the UK one long ago, if you watched the series before you so eloquently decided to critique it, you would know that ;)

I saw the UK version even before watching the US one and I have to say I like the US one better because, the one who plays Fiona in the UK version is nowhere near as hot as Emily Rossum.

Fiona needs to stop trying to chase Lip. He is a smart person. Fiona likes to ruin things for him.
How did she ' ruin ' things for him? He ruined it for himself.
She wasn’t ruining anything for him... All she wanted was for him to live a life different from her. The reason she busted her ass as much as she did was so that her siblings could live a nice life that she couldn’t. She wanted them to excel, go to college and she saw Lip’s potential. Lip was freakishly smart and all she wanted was for him to accept the offer to M.I.T.
the direction Lip was going down in this season was a shitty one
