I’m a highland cow owner and breeder of pedigree highlands (THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A MINI HIGHLAND COW) the are just young highlands take a long tome to fully grow I have a 6 year old cow that is still grown high lands and slow growing breed compare to other breeds.

I think we just saw Kakoa and sky in a different form. The cows are already half on the way to being huskies. But the first thing the dogs will teach is how there is no concept of someone’s food unless it’s their own

I wish this comment could be highlighted. Calfs in pens away from mothers seems very strange, especially at four weeks? Crates seem really small, and why are they on crates at all? So many questions here.
Yes. Separated from mom - very sad - for the mom too! When they let one out it was obvious how much it needed to get out and run - Don’t pay these people for what they do. Find a rescue if you really need to have one.

If the mom is being milked, they separate the mom and calf after 3 days. Also, bottle feeding helps the new owner bond with the calf .
