Tony Adams was our greatest captain and defender but Steve Bould was underrated. He was instrumental in the 90/91 title and 93/94 Cup Winner’s Cup. We almost went a season unbeaten in 90/91 way before the Invincibles and the only game we lost was when he went off injured.
And apparently Tony the Rock loves poetry. Would you believe it.🎉🎉🎉🎉 Arsenal had that ultimatum mixture of muscles and brains .And a french Cook to make a delicious meal from that ,Wenger was brilliant and the gentleman that Alex Furgus9n ( no fucking way did hé behave like a Lord)could never be. 😊
Since that game took place, Everton have been unable to beat Arsenal in London until April 2021. 4 draws and 20 defeats in total. 61 goals conceded in those 24 matches.
Bould 35 comes on... people just have no idea what wenger did to those old english players careers. 'Some people say even at 35 hes played better this season than ever before'
We’ve gone from viera and Petit in the middle, Adams and Keown at the back, to Xhaka and Torreira in the middle, David Luiz and Sokratis at the back in just 22 years, who’d have thought it!
Do you ever think we will be league winners again ? I’m finding it hard to keep faith with the club, year after year slowly getting further and further away from top spot, owners clearly don’t care about on pitch success .... sad times
This season is where it all started for me. I witnessed Marc Overmars single handedly destroying Man UTD, he became my favorite player and Arsenal became my team
For me the best arsenal team ever. An amazing day but for me. I think after Adams scored that goal everything changed in football and the world for the WORSE.
most clubs do... but times have changes... We sold Anelka to build a training ground now Leicster have built a state of the art ground through ownership. (sad how we let money in)
Arsenal & Everton are the longest surviving clubs in the top league. Contrary to most people's intuitions, things that have survived tend to survive longer, like the pyramids and great wall.
No Henry, Ian Wright, no Pires , no Bergkamp andbno Kanu or van Persie and stull Arsenal had a freat attacking line up.Only that Wreh was a bit eh.. well , bad . But thisvis why I love the PL. So much passion and action .
I was 27 at the time. I’d never seen Arsenal play with such confidence on their run in. A scouser mate bought me a pint when I entered the local pub. Tony Adams goal at the end summed up that season perfectly. Happy days😁
'what chance Viera & Petit forcing their way into the world cup squad' Please tell me hes just an idiotic commentator and they didnt seriously have to prove much!?!
What a shame this video didn't show the iconic shot of Adams after he scored. Ruined the whole video
I know it sucks. But it's because of automatic copyright by the Prem. Only way to have the video stay live.

I come back to watch this video when I want to be uplifted. That last goal from Tony Adams is just sublime.

*Oh The Good ol Days*
I remember watching this match in a local pub. That was a good day!

Take me back
Win the title in style! Even though their league form nosedived after this. Looks like the players were already looking ahead to World Cup 1998.
Post recorded commentary really has no life in it. This deserves the " would you believe it" finish
23:02 lol bould putting tony adams thru
Bould 35 comes on... people just have no idea what wenger did to those old english players careers. 'Some people say even at 35 hes played better this season than ever before'
Adams bursting through to score is the ultimate fairytale ending.
was hoping for 'that sums it all up'.. wrong place
Adams is the only one Capt. for 1st Division and EPL Champions
Captain at 21... just unreal
We love you Arsenal 🤍❤️

Well this aged like a dog turd, Xhaka has been one of our best players since the restart
Yes, but I was saying. We are no where near the level we were 22 years ago
@@samgee6325 not me either mate😂

@@georgewalsom7487 Hope that you're presently feeling more positive about us this season, my fellow cannon-loving comrade...?!
We love you Arsenal, we do...we love you Arsenal we do..Oh Arsenal we love you😘😘
This season is where it all started for me. I witnessed Marc Overmars single handedly destroying Man UTD, he became my favorite player and Arsenal became my team
Cheers, Mr Jim Alcott
2:40 david seaman... thats just nutty... then the david platt long pass where he kills it so it drops dead by the way he hits it!
When poetry and football meet...
For me the best arsenal team ever. An amazing day but for me. I think after Adams scored that goal everything changed in football and the world for the WORSE.
What a day
How things change! Everton would fancy it nowadays 😂
Big Dunc v David Luiz

2:44 amazing that 26 years later they are still in the top flight

14:03 keown realised he fucked up 😭
Mr Arsenal himself
Paul Dempsey is a great boxing commentator and a great sports journalist but he fails here to reach the greatness of the moment.
Christopher Wreh, Arsenal legend!
Him and Manninger, unsung heroes of that season
No Henry, Ian Wright, no Pires , no Bergkamp andbno Kanu or van Persie and stull Arsenal had a freat attacking line up.Only that Wreh was a bit eh.. well , bad . But thisvis why I love the PL. So much passion and action .
Haha! You can hear a wide boy in the crown shouting “got that wrong darling, don’t do it again” hahaha 😂
I can’t explain how much I wish I was alive at this time. No snowflake football, the best arsenal, all these pl greats playing, wenger at his high
I was 27 at the time. I’d never seen Arsenal play with such confidence on their run in.

Think Anelka had John Jensen's boots on that day 🙂

Btw that training ground is still up there but has been caught up and now behind so many teams.
