Very well explained. I have few questions please if you could help me out.
1) As we don’t have any relative in US, so while providing the details of address of stay, can we put hotel name without booking it?? And what if they check with the hotel about reservations and they get to know that there is no booking. As we are unsure of the month of travel.
2) About photo upload, whenever I am compressing file size to less than 240kb, it says too compressed on “photo tool”. But it is accepting photo of higher kb like 500 or 600 kb and it is even passing quality standards. So can I upload a photo with higher kb ?

What should I select - Child/Other Relative/Other
There is no option for Son.
I think word "child" is use for minor.

I think yes, you can apply. But check for the process as what address details you will put in the DS 160 application. There are facebook groups for us b1/b2 visa, you can join them and ask if someone has applied that way. You will know then how to apply.

We are on work permit, i think with complete documentation and legit reason for visit, there should not be any reasons for rejection.
