Headquarters of Eastern Air Command at Upper Shillong organised a two day ‘AIR FEST 2018’ in Shillong.
The Air Fest 2018 kicked off with a fly past of Mi-17 helicopters and Su-30 MKI multi-role fighter aircraft. There was also a demonstration of slithering operations by ‘Garud’, the elite commandos of the Indian Air Force.
Static display of Aircraft and performance by the military band are some other highlights of the festival.
IAF has set up various stalls which include IAF publicity stall, souvenir stall and delectable food stalls.

next time i would like to see our own tejas on the air show. im not afighter pilot but im always in love with fighter aircraft. can the IAF bring again our firstindigenous fighter the Marrut H22 fighter jet into the air show. with love from mawphlang india. jai hind
