Ok, this looks rad. The Wasteland stuff turned out way cooler than I expected. Hardly played Extinction back on ASE, but thinking I'll be sinking a load of time into this version.
Music: Fracking Hell. Distinct lack of Tek Dinos but wait was that a Tek Quetz? Uuuhhmm Hold on a cottonpickin minute that guy was riding a corrupted Dino??? A dune buggy hangin off a cliff.... Coooool. Ooooooohhh the meteor storms loook awesome.
Okay gotta be honest, it looks very sandstoney. And riding corrupted creatures is meh. Their whole thing basically is that they are not tameable. I’m hyped for exe, yes, but I worry it’ll look like the island and center and scorched in terms of terrain.
Extinction wasteland definitely had the sandy look in ASE but yeah I'm hoping it's at least not all the same sandstone colour we've seen in the Island and The Center, other than that I think the map looks pretty good from first impressions :D
When the map fully releases I do plan on almost sleeping zero amounts to get 4 or 5 videos out before Christmas Eve, it's a bit stressful that they release this so close to Christmas......and it's not even out yet XD classic!!
The Bob's Tall Tales is paid DLC, but the map and the Dreadnoughtus will be free. To be fair the DLC is well worth the money, 3 packs for 3 maps included in the price, they add so much new content!

Console is also the reason "realistic games" nowadays look worse than Crysis 1 with a photorealism mod on. Gaming is dead, and they killed it. Never forget.
they can't do that, they have to money gran money grab money grab. snail games is in so much debt they have serveral loans with other companies. why you think they did this whole shitty game upgrade instead of ark 2! easier and quicker and for some reason people ate it up. why make new games when people will just rebuy games they already own

UpFromTheDepths (who done did the BTT segment of the trailer) said it's a costume. Actual corrupteds are still untameable.
