Foreign Power, and some very interesting trains in Petersburg, VA: February 23, 2017

With the day off from work, I decided to head to Petersburg and meet up with a friend for some railfanning. While in town, we caught quite a few movements, including some nice power as well as trains.
On the CSX side of things, the variety was there, while the power was your typical onslaught of widecabs. Loaded coal train T402 ran south with a DPU on the rear, and Q401 came south a short while later with a nice variety of units. Then, it was onto NS. 23G was the show stopper, with CN and BNSF power on the head end, and an NS unit as the DPU. Not long after shooting him, work train V68 headed west with a Scale Test Car being led by a slug-set.
We shot a few more trains on CSX at both Collier, and then Stony Creek before calling it a day, ending with a nice list of 12 trains.
