The Rieju is a nice little bike. Not cheap in the UK but you get a lot for your money. The weight is 190kg dry, which doesn't sound competitive, but then when you think that weight includes all the additional protective equipment that comes as standard: side guards, crankcase cover, centre stand and handguards with an estimated weight of 13 kg. Then it's not bad at all. The crashbars would be the first thing I remove. Then add a lithium battery (if it doesn't already come with one) for a further 2.5kg saving. It would get my nod over the new NX500.
I've never seen a Rieju in the US. I love the Adventura 500's fuel capacity. The 11 liter tank is my only real complaint about my G310GS. It should be twice that. My favorite so far is the Kove 450 Rally - powerful enough for highway miles, light enough for off road, very good suspension travel and ground clearance, with front and rear tanks for excellent range.
@@PeakMotorcycles - You'd still need to stop for fuel but 2-3 times less often. A human needs to get off at least that often for food and caffeine. I saw a video of a guy who held the record for shortest motorcycle ride across the US (speeding like crazy, so far from legal). He added a homemade fuel cell on the pillion so he could burn a lot of fuel to race across the country. Much of his success was due to radar/laser detectors and route planning to avoid traffic and police.
Rieju seem to be making some pretty cool dirt bikes and the 500 adventure bike looks pretty cool, albeit heavy. Note: it looks like the triple clamps had a hole to move the ‘bars forward?

I wish I could, but I haven't ridden either, though I have ridden the CB500X which is essentially the same as the Aventura without the fuel tanks and it's a solid bike. If you're between the two, I'd see if you can test ride them both. Everyone has a different body shape and dimensions and sometimes you get on a bike and it just works. For someone else it might be the opposite.

It's a nice bike, but sadly not well represented here in Oz. How would you rate the build quality versus the CF Moto 450MT?
I think it's pretty similar (the same?) as the CB500X engine, so around 47hp. It's an older bike than the CF Moto, but on the surface at least, the build quality is similar. Both have tubeless wheels, but the CFMoto has them laced to the outer edge rather than the middle of the rim.

That Reiju 500 seems to have the CB500 engine and frame in it. I would assume its either copied or built under license. The rocker cover and casings are cosmetically different, but that seems to be all. Think I would prefer this over the Honda (I own CB500X)
Perhaps I'm odd but the best looking Bike there was the Tango. It's like a European version of the TW200. What a great way for youngsters or newbies to get into some gentle green laning.
should be a useful tool if a bit slow and more expensive than the opposition bikes but then they can't do 500 miles on a tank, a fair few cars can't match that either

See, this is what manufactures should be doing, stop looking to shave a kilo here and there by reducing the fuel tank, and actually put a long distance tank on a bike that is designed for long distance work.
Yup. It definitely fills a niche. The CB500X is a good platform for it too, and with the 21” front, tubeless wheel it’s a good spec, despite the weight.

It's a Spanish brand. The bike is made by Loncin in China who also make the BMW scooters and the 800/850 parallel twin engines. The engine in the Rieju is (I think) the same as the Honda CB500X engine, but made under licence by Loncin.
It is very much a niche bike for those that need the range. As for the price, there’s plenty of small capacity bikes for more than that, I guess it’s down to what is important. Some folks think the Benelli’s are too heavy.
Are you sure? Rieju is a Spanish brand, and the bike is built by Loncin in China, using a Honda engine made under licence. Loncin also make the engines for the BMW parallel twins, and have done for many years. I agree that it's another version of a CB500X rather than an AT though, but it has been done rather well and the big fuel tanks set it apart.

The Adventura 500 would be an excellent bike for an Iron Butt ride - 1000 miles in 24 hours. It's amazing how fuel stops detract from average speed.

Yup, I think the bars are moveable. The bike is heavy, but then for what it is and with the fuel capacity, I'm sure it will find a market.

19L of fuel is perhaps 14kg? But it carries it low down, so it's probably not too bad. Probably...

Dray weight 190kg +40l gasoline is 230kg wich is ok for 600km +! So it can not be 260kg with out bags🤔

It's essentially a Honda CB500X with a massive fuel tank. Nothing wrong with that, but I guess there's a more limited market for it.
Does it features cruise control?
No idea, but I suspect not. I doubt it has a fly by wire throttle, so only a mechanical one is possible, and those are rarely fitted as standard.

Most of the euro adventure bikes and dual sport bike not only are expensive but not cheap to own... This is why the Japanese do so well

8000 euros for 500cc Chinese motorcycle is to expensive when the rest of the Chinese motorcycle with the same size engine cost about 6000euros.
