I did this last year and replaced the actuators. Fiddly, but not difficult. Depending on whether you are left or right handed, you may find the left or right is a bit trickier than the other.
I suspect that the cable is the same since the door locks and handle function the same on both sides and when I ordered the part I didn’t specify left or right
Hey man, thanks for the video. Very helpful. I just need to replace the door handle latch that broke, it's coming Thursday. My cables are fine. I took off my cover and it looks like I could possibly change it out without taking the door off, but it does look tight. I was just wondering if you know if the latch and lock assembly could be done by just removing the cover and sneaking it through? Thanks.
Good day. I think you should be able to unscrew the additional screw (hidden under the white tape) and slide the handle assembly to release it. What I am not sure about is how difficult it would be to reconnect the latch and lock cables to the assembly in such a small space. Best of luck and please let us know if this was possible.
@@Jay_DriscollI was able to replace it without removing the door panel. It was a bit difficult however, but doable. You have to snap in the plastic into the door first, then connect the cables because there is no slack on the cables if you don't remove the door panel.
That can be difficult. A small standard screw driver can be used to pry the covers off. Try wedging the pointy end in between the cover and the door card (don’t worry about scratching it because it’s not very visible most of the time). Best of luck!

Is able to open both doors without problems but for some reason left door don't close from right side, only right. I think it could be because of this cables.

The lock cable spigot, made of a die cast alloy sometimes detaches from the steel cable. This is the weak spot.
