Thanks so much for uploading this, Dan. I greatly appreciate it. If you have any other video yearbooks from 1992-1998, I would very much appreciate it if you could upload them as well.
93 was the year I became a lions fan. Then brett farve and the packers broke my heart. Still love my team through all the down years our future is starting to look more and more brighter
If Stafford had a consistent rushing attack, regardless of whether or not our defense is great or terrible, the Lions wouldve not only won the division multiple times but made the nfc title game. The best rushing attack the lions have ever produced with Stafford at QB is 17th and its usually around 23rd or worse.
They made the playoffs 5xs in the 90s people forget they even made the playoffs in 99 after barry left and in 2000 lost 2 the bears in week 17 in a win or go home game
And they barely lost that one crucial game, it's a shame that if the 2000 Lions won that week 17 game against Chicago they would have never lost their 90s identity, Gary Moeller would still had been their HC, Matt Millen wouldn't have been hired, and they would have made a playoff that year. It sucks to think about how the Lions could have been if only that week 17 game was won by them.
@@edman813 When millen was hired I laughed bc I thought it was too crazy of an idea, as a chi fan I thought ‘my guys did this to you ha ha’ and that det was doomed - I turned out to be right
The Lions and Packers met in the Silverdome in the final two weeks of the season (the regular season finale and the playoff game). I'm just wondering, did the Packers stay in town the entire week or did they go back to Green Bay, then come back to Detroit?
@@dominicbonanno6806 That's wild, also....I noticed the Lions opened at home against Atlanta....they also opened 94 against them too also at home. I have to wonder how often that's ever happened too, and likely also something we won't see again in NFL history.
In 93 it was the Lions 60th season.. Today it was 90th when we won our division title.. Flip that 6 upside down you get a special 90th season woah!!!
Thanks for posting Dan and thanks for your years with the Lions. Always a reliable front 4 player.
You nailed that thumbnail photo lol
I traveled from Michigan to Minnesota for that Halloween game in 1993, great time!
reading this comment walking around Minnesota after traveling here for tomorrows Lions/Vikings game. Hope our lions can pull it out.
@@jiles8187 hoping the Lions put up 40+ for the third week in a row! 🦁
I was 8 this season so it is great to see this with better football eyes
The should of kept that team together, especially the defense 2023 NFC North Champs

As a cowboys fan I always love seeing these two teams play each other

Lions clinch
Lions last division crown and last home playoff game.
Now if the Lions could just go back to these original uniforms - I'll bet that they'll go back to their winning ways.
Oh yeah ,it's the uniforms fault..
Bring back wayne
Mark Symbala They won't due to the controversy.
Lloyd Christmas what controversy?
As bad as this sounds (its bad too) the 90s were the glory days of the Detroit Lions.

I'll always be a Lions fan because of Barry Sanders. #DvE
This defense had some Dawgs on it!
*dogs.

@jaboo82681 This was an odd stretch where the Lions played the Packers 5 times in the calendar year of 1994. Will never happen again in NFL history.
