So confused how watson has a higher pff grade than dj when he had 2 TOs, took 6 more sacks and had a worse qbr, passer, and completion rating

At the end they say Jones had 0 turnover worthy plays. Not sure what game they were watching even though Jones playing very good I could name 3 plays that were turnover waiting to happen

I feel its good for grading DL and OL play since its easier to judge wins or losses on a rep by rep basis... everything else tho yeah not reliable since they don't know the playbook and they don't know who's covering who on D or who is supposed to go where on O....it starts to get muddy beyond the trenches

Yeah you don’t. Jones didn’t have any big time throws and he had tons of turnover worthy plays. That’s how they ding you. Pff is more about would this have been a turnover than what was the end result. It’s not an all encompassing thing but jones had about 5 or 6 passes that should’ve been picked if not for the play of nabers or browns players just dropping picks or a penalty etc

DJ was definitely better than that, and Watson did not look better than DJ did most of the game. So I gotta think pretty hard to figure that reasoning out.

Most impressive daniel jones yet has a 49 grade. Where do they get the grades? I meam when u watch sunday night football or whatever it is where they show their pff grades at bottom of the player. Im always seeing studs or good players with low grades. I think they accurately do the d line and that's about it.

lol at these delusional Giants fans in the comments... The reason why Watson graded better than Jones is because Watson was going against a better defense that day whereas the Browns are completely inept as a team on both sides of the ball... both teams stink.
Browns are inept on both sides of the ball? Browns have the best home defense the past 3 years allowing only 13.8 pts per game at home. Daniel Jones made them look like Swiss cheese!
