  • A member of the ShapeOko community needed some assistance trying to get the desired results out of Carbide Create while using a Boolean Operation. When using them you will get a desired effect in one area while getting an undesirable effect in another. So to workaround this we do a manual trace of the vectors we want to keep using a very crude shape and then using the Node Edit tool to fix the lines and fit them to the the curves and get a 99% match. During the video we go through why it is important as to which line is our "Dashed" line to be able to get our desired results. Going through the different Boolean tools to see what they do to the work and which one finally gets our desired result. We mainly will be using Boolean Union and Boolean Intersection. If the video in anyway at all helps you please like the video. Again Im sorry for the first one with the shotty audio.
