What is your objective for filming a concert, at a venue that explicitly states on the purchased ticket “NO AUDIO-NO VIDEO-NO FOTO” I was at the concert in my Wolves shirt(the football team Robert Plant supports), having paid hard earned money for a seat near the front and travelled 3 for 3 hours. Pros: You get a personal film(to show your friends) You get paid for uploading it to platforms The world gets to see your video without having to leave their home and pay for a ticket. Cons: Everyone at the concert’s enjoyment of the artist is spoilt by the distraction of the use of mobile phones. In the same way as it would be if someone talks through a play or a ballet. I don’t want to be looking at the back of someone’s phone at a concert. I don’t want to be listening to someone’s WhatsApp conversation during a concert(it was happing next to us, we politely asked the person to stop, and also the people who were continually filming) You are being disrespectful to the performer and other concert attendees. You miss the live experience, that will never happen again. The artist does not earn from your film The venue does not earn from your film How to solve the problem? Venue enforces the “No Filming” Venue and/or artist release and sell the footage that is recorded and shown on the screens live. They earn and there is professional record of the concert.
You've obviously never performed live in front of a crowd of people. An audience recording you is actually one of the best feelings because it means they're enjoying the music your playing and can share it with other people to get the music and performance across. When people aren't recording, it normally means the audience isn't happy. Happy audience= 💰. Happy audience= sharing with others and others more likely wanting to go = 💰
@popmonika rubbish, and yes I have performed, if they are recording they are not watching or engaging with you. the last thing I'd want is a crap phone recording out there😁
