80年代感性的Synthwave單曲《Prism》
NEWTON 2021年的第一首新歌《Prism》，延續了一直以來嚮往的Newtro-Dancepop曲風，並追求正統Synthwave音樂，展現出另一種飛躍。《Prism》突出Synthwave特有的感性與流行旋律的卓越平衡，歌詞内容比喻爲三稜鏡效果，隱喻自己遇見心愛的某人就會變成多彩多姿的形象。
NEWTON爲了積極與國內外粉絲溝通，這首《Prism》也堅持了韓英雙版本同步發行的策略。韓文版由身兼主唱、配音員、製作人等角色，多方面嶄露頭角的K JUN來展現韓文Synthwave的精髓，英文版則由Hyundai現代汽車XBTS世界地球日特別活動《For tomorrow, we won't wait》篇廣告音樂主唱的德國創作歌手J.O.Y，以他特有的音色和感覺增添完成度。
《Prism》MV是去年12月發行的《慣性定律 Inertia》MV之後續作品，是NEWTON追求的SF想象力加上覆古感性的系列作品。內容描述機器人爲了在荒涼的行星上生存，邊收集宇宙垃圾來為自己充電，邊度過無意義的日子，但某天發現了一名少女，進而展開了一部感人的MV。
NEWTON以發行《Prism》爲起點，在2021年也持續發行新歌，要展現具有大衆性的80年代Retrowave風格之精髓。
