Toni Elias, one of the most underrated MotoGP riders of all time.
I disagree, he had his moments but was never truly a front runner in the MotoGp class. Deserved moto 2 champion though and doing great in America

Total respect for this guy Tony Elias, he never been a cry baby like Jorge Lorenzo, or cribbing kid like Casey Stoner. He has always tried to fight full straight fair and square and won this race. Valentino Rossi also respect him as a rider and they still shakes hand whenever they meet, Vale says in an interview that the only time he got upset because of Tony Elias is when he knocked Vale out in the very first lap in Jerez 2006. Vale believe his bad luck started from there and he lost the MotoGP world championship of 2006.

Rossi lost crucial points in this race and lost the overall championship to hayden in 2006

I was a proper Elias fan before this race, his hanging off style and riding with his heart, so this race had me leaping around the room. Was gutted Elias lacked consistency overall. The 2010 Moto2 season was awesome though!

The greed of MotoGp and Duke video are making you pay for videos that you used to be able to watch either by joining MotoGP website then you could watch all the races from 1992 from all the different classes. Or you could watch a lot on TH-cam, but now you have to pay Duke video because Dorna sold video rights to them. MotoGP are losing viewers and spectators, due to their short sightedness and greed.
Pedrosa was following orders from Alberto Puig to run over riders in front of you. And after Pedrosa did the most unbelievably stupid move in GP racing, Puig blamed Hayden and said that he was only doing well because he was setting up his bike by copying Pedrosa’s settings, when in fact Hayden had no access to Pedrosa’s data, but Pedrosa had access to Hayden and Divizioso data. And Honda was providing parts to Pedrosa but not to Hayden, Hayden won despite Honda actively working against him.
Just think what would happen now if a championship contender was to be taken out BY HIS OWN TEAMMATE
nothing, because marquez wins always with 10 seconds margin and a crash doesn't be a tragedy moment, only a 0 that isn't important for marc

Not true. Rossi said that He was angry because Elias made him crash in the first race in jerez
Almost unnoticed in all the drama, a brilliant podium for KR JR on his family team bike.
He was faster than Elias in that race but somewhere I read or heard that he thought the race would finish a lap earlier and slowed down after crossing the line, before realising it wasn't over yet.

Also: Apparently for this race, Toni Elias was given the same spec tyres as Melandri, and most of the factory riders, had been using all season. Who knows what Elias could’ve done if he’d had those tyres since the beginning? 🤔

Bad luck = Rossi in 2006
Elias made him crash in Jerez, Technical problems in : Le Mans, China, Laguna Seca, 0.005 at Estoril and in Valencia something strange happened : because on saturday He did the lap record but on Sunday he was not able to overtake a Suzuki and his bike was like there was not anti-wheelie... what a pity: anyway happy that Nicky Hayden won that ❤
True. Yamaha lacked consistency in 2006. Multiple mechanical failure gave away at least 50 points. I remember in Le Mans Rossi was leading the race and then the bike failed. It could've been an easy win, but ended up with DNF.
