- Michael bekommt zu seinem Geburtstag von der Foundation einen Seeurlaub geschenkt - allerdings mit einem Hintergedanken von Devon. Froschmänner haben Amy ihre neueste Erfindung, ein Luftkissenboot, gestohlen. Michael soll ihr bei der Suche helfen.
Die Actionserie dreht sich um den Ex-Polizisten Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff), dessen Leben nach einem schweren Unfall von einem geheimnisvollen Millionär gerettet wird. Ausgestattet mit einer neuen Identität und einem sprechenden Hightech-Superauto namens „K.I.T.T.“ bekämpft Knight von nun an das Böse und wird immer dann auf den Plan gerufen, wo der normale Polizeiapparat nichts ausrichten kann. Dabei kommt es in der Regel zu spektakulären Verfolgungsjagden und witzigen Interaktionen zwischen Knight und seinem eigensinnigen Auto.

🤔 so.. he grappled the hover craft on the front so it turned towards KITT when being towed in. He go out of the car when the rocket launchers and machine guns were pointed at him as a result, was there some unspoken rule back in the 80's? And all the rocket launcher buttons were just placed on a flat surface so anyone inside the hover craft could accidentally bump with their knees. lol, the more I watch the funnier it gets, 4 grown men wedged into the front of that hovercraft almost sitting on each other's laps. 😂
That tv serial was unique...I didn't missed any single series and still I love this gteat tv serials and it's theme music....Wow that time was golden
When I was a kid this transformation was 1000% badass (now I see the poor KITT became more awful than hell)

Hat mal jemand bei dem Beschuß mit den "Silvesterraketen" mitgezählt ob das hinkommt ? Ich zähle jeweils sechs Abschußrohre an Back- und Steuerbord. Ist schon witzig. Auch das jedes Mal die Funken sprühen wenn K.I.T.T. von Geschossen getroffen wird. Seit wann schlägt Blei, auch wenn es von Tombak ummantelt ist an Panzerglas Funken ? Na ja, 80er-Action halt über die man heute wo man mehr darüber weiß nur schmunzeln kann. Trotzdem - die Episoden sind Kult ! :-)
Man sieht überall auf der Carrosserie so kleine Punkte, (KITT hat Pickel) das sind wohl die kleinen "Sprengkörper" welche die Funken erzeugen.
Yeahhh endlich Showtime für den super pursuit mode mega schön den wieder auch wenns nur kurz ist in action zu sehen weiter so mit den Videos (y)🥳🎊🎉

Das Oberteil des Luftkissenboots sieht irgendwie aus wie die obere Hälfte eines zeitgenössischen Vans, evtl. ein Ford Econoline der dritten Generation, nur abgeändert ( schräger stehende Seitenteile, Front, etc.)
1:36 min Kitt mit aufgesetzter Gummischutzkarosserie. Dabei entsteht ein auffälliges Spaltmass an der Front und A-Säule, das man glauben könnte, ein Schreiner hätte das Auto zusammengeklebt.

Jedesmal wenn KITT den Super Pursuit Mode aktiviert hat und dann eine Grossaufnahme von Michel während der Fahrt mit SPM gezeigt wird, sieht man keinen erhöhten Heckspoiler.
klar, weil das 2 verschiedene Autos beim Dreh waren. Für die Szenen mit Hasselhoff im Auto kam ja das Insert-Car zum Einsatz. Das Super-Pursuit-Mode-Auto hatte ja nix weiter drin, kein Dashboard und nichts XD
1:28 Rakete trifft Kitt frontal: Kein Ausweichen nötig, Rakete prallt harmlos ab. 2:03 Wieder werden Raketen auf Kitt geschossen: Kitt muss ausweichen. :D Hatte mich damals schon gewundert. Die Molekularversiegelung müsste den Wagen doch auch von den Seiten praktisch unverwundbar machen^^
Man muss es ja nicht herausfordern, dann schimpft Bonnie wieder ;)
Finde es eher waghalsig dass Michael aussteigt, obwohl die Raketen ja noch funktionieren. Naja, in den 80ern gab es halt noch Fairness und Sportlichkeit.

When Kitt pull the hovercraft from the sea, why they not shoot the Car by weapon...🤣🤣🤣
Funny how they didn't care. You can see they were using a different car like every five seconds of the scene. First the SPM one of course, but then the rubber armoured, then normal stunt car, then super-light one (you can see the rear hatch is plastic, and much thinner than standard), then a star-car at the end.
Yet somehow we forgave it all. Either that or we just couldn't really see it because of our crappy CRT TV screens.
What hurts me more is that acceleration at 00:14. With a clumsy V8 and 14-inch wheels. Even the Koenigsegg Agera RS and the Bugatti Chiron SS can't push that fast.
One says we forgave it, I say we were so gullible...
@@E1N9A8N0DA You're forgetting that in the show KITT was powered by turbine engine and could launch additional rocket thrusters to improve acceleration. In early episodes there are even lights on the dash signalling that rocket thrusters work and a button, and in one episode when Michael drives KITT says; 'I advise to launch rocket thrusters, or they'll cut us off'.

The car would flip over like a carpet the instant Michael hit the throttle.
