The vocals on this are incredible. Floyd faded the long notes in the verses into the keyboard so that the vocal became the keyboard without you noticing it very much. James mans up and sings the vocal and the keyboard parts in this.
I should have been at this show. I regret frequently missing my favorite band play one of my favorite songs of all time. Now if only they will cover Genesis's Supper's Ready.
I don't know what you people are bitching about; yeah Labrie doesn't have the best voice, but he sounds pretty damn good considering he had some throat problems and what not. The band itself was fantastic as always!
I think the bootleg this is taken from is called "Dark Side of the Moon" since they also played the album in it's entirety here? Just my guess, maybe those are two different shows. Anyway it's nice to hear them doing this tribute, even though I'm not a fan of them.
@Corleonetone Well, technicality is a universal good. Tone on the other hand, is subjective. There is this saxophone player, amazing technique, amazing player. He stays in tune on any note, but i HATE his tone. But that is subjective, it doesn't make him a bad player cause i dislike his tone.

Amazing cover. It even gives some additional power to the already great song.

It's a bonus track but thanks for extolling upon us your need to correct things you don't know the full story behind.
Not entirely sure about this song but they do re-release songs on new albums... (the wall hint hint)
What year was this recorded?

@Corleonetone so even though his tone is solid, he is in tune, and has a huge vocal range, he is a horrible singer?
So??
