Having PCOS and Endometriosis, I can't help but get a bit of a sadistic sort of pleasure watching people try these things. I also use a Tenz unit (the thing that gives the shocks) for muscle spasms and normally run it on 20 (highest setting) and it doesn't come close to my cramps. It is true that it helps alleviate some of the cramp pain though. 😅
😂😂😂😂 Graeme's reactions are the best & yes sir, they do hurt that bad for some of us, & we carry on about our day the best we can. Lol can you imagine us females walkin around making the faces & noises Graeme does, during ours 😂😂😂 good on you for being a good sport
Great pairs - Laura and Thomas are basically badasses, the ladies had a suspicious amount of fun, and Graeme and Saifa are just a delight together any time. Thanks for suffering for our amusement everyone!
Older games of Operation (say 90s and before) had a buzzer that was truly frightening when you hit the sides. Now it's much more bearable to listen to.
I played this game in the 70ties, the buzzer really was so scary, thought maybe it was because I was a kid and it seemed louder. Glad you mentioned it, thanks 😊
So true. I played it a lot when I was younger and was scared and excited to play with it. I played it a year ago (the newer version) and it was just docile, and I hit it a few times.
I watched the previous Pain Stimulator shoot, and like that episode, I became even more aware, empathetic and compassionate toward all the wonderful women in this world! I am so sorry that you have to go through all of your pain and suffering. God bless you all! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Actually, (how shall I put this 🤔 ...) it is literally the uterus convulsing to cause shedding/ripping off & discarding of a layer of its inner wall, to keep it sanitary. Thus the pain & its purpose.@@jadebass-qc6of ...but thank you @russelljackman1413, for your compassion, lol 👍
there are some studies to see whether a TENS unit, which is what I'm assuming they're using for the simulator, actually improves menstrual symptoms, so may have actually helped Justine
Great video !! Seriously does help show that a person can get use to pain and that its hard to actually know what another feels. I live with both gout & arthritis and always laugh at "on a scale of 1-10 where's your pain level" as for me a good day is a four at least and most days am about a 7. When I developed a hernia I didn't even notice it at first, later at the hospital had doctor push it back in and didn't flinch. For myself pain is an old friend that visits everyday and sometimes they trash the house.
Oh my, the jokes and payback statements from the ladies to the guys are simply hilarious. Ciara and Justine just hilarious watch them talking and congratulating one another. I have always understood that women go through during those times. Great show!!!
I really enjoy these videos and I'm a guy. It really comes across as educational and supportive. Women go through so much and it's great to talk about it.
as someone with endometriosis, i'm with justine on this. i get absolutely horrible periods and have to take a lot of meds to help manage them. weed and hot water bottles are the two things that help me the most!
This was such a great isight to how different the pain can be and how much a tens device can mimic pain for ppl without the associated organ. Like, as Laura said, it's more shooting and deep, but for a non-uterus having person, it at least gives a glimpse to the chronic and variable pain many uterus havers go through every month. Was also interesting how it was almost therapeutic for Justine who was going through shark week. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that tens devices are actually helpful for period cramps, just as they are for other forms of pain management. So this was a neat look into how a tens device can be useful in both teaching some empathy for such pain but also can be used to treat such pain. Also Laura killed it with the buzz wire game! I wish my hands were that steady. Watching her ace that made me feel like I was watching a major sporting event rooting on my favorite team. Kinda wish we had a board game olympics now. I'd be so into that.
Ciara is a beast. NOTHING seems to phase her. Tosses back shots like nothing, and level 12 on the crampinator doesn’t even make her flinch. She’s a dream.
Yes, Laura, same! (PCOS and education opportunity thoughts, etc) Also, why is Graeme always with Saifa? Holy moly, I couldn’t imagine trying these games 😅😂😂
Not only were Grahame and Saifa the funniest but that remark about taking a painkiller and moving on made me think she served time in the military. Also the difference between Justine's guts and leather armor cannot be spacious.
That was way more entertaining than it had any right to be. Graeme trying, and failing, to deal with the "cramps" was funny as hell because I doubt I could do any better. And the pairing of Ciara and Justine is always awesome to see, they are awesome together. Extra props to Ciara for wearing a Temple of the Dog shirt.
Just goes to show how different every woman’s pain and their tolerance is during her period. Justine breezed thru it just like Ciara did the first time.
I wonder if it was the difference between having actual menstrual cramps while having the machine on & not having cramps while doing it. I don't think the machine is remotely like my menstrual or Crohn's intestinal cramping - I have had to wear the machine all day for a lower back injury & get hooked up to a bigger one at physical therapy & I don't usually notice it until about 10.
Yes! I wonder if actually being on your period makes it a little easier to wear. I've heard the tens machine can actually help with menstrual cramps, so maybe the machine-caused contractions sorta cancel out the menstrual contractions? 🤔
I'd like to have a little shout out to the adenomyosis sufferers out there. The less well-known cousin of endo, the endometrium stuffs the internal muscles of the uterine wall and leads to the period being the equivalent of passing your mashed liver (in texture AND amount) every time you menstruate. And often the pain is 3 weeks out of every month, even if you bleed for the one. Side note: redheads feel pain more intensely, so we also get a lot more stoic over the years. It doesn't surprise me that the ginger bloke did so well.
I feel the guys, being guys, are just trying to one-up each other to see who's the toughest and can outlast the others. They didn't seem to catch on that the women go through this month after month, year after year only interrupted by pregnancy (that's a whole other matter and conversation) . The fact that women work, get married and have babies, run corporations and run countries all while going through this each month says something about the strength and capabilities of said Ladies. Hats off. ❤
I remember in middle school, the pe teacher telling us to keep exercising because it'd help with the period cramps. Now I wanna see them having to jog on a treadmill, do push ups and sit ups, etc. Make them play table tennis
I would love someone to do a study on a period simulator on the same person in different parts of their cycle. Because I think just like Ciara said it might be a different feeling at different times of your cycle. And I would love to know if this is something that could alleviate my pain when I am on my period?
these poor people!! i have to gift the high maros for this. Ciara n Justine are actually having double the pain because they ARE in their cycle while doing this. God Bless you!!
Pretty crazy episode. Great pairings. Though I have to say, it feels strange finding pleasure in other people's pain. But seeing what each person's pain threshold is at is very interesting.
I honestly think Thomas did so well because he’s a redhead and redheads have a higher pain tolerance than most people. It was funny to see how exhausted he was after each round though😂
I just found this channel yesterday, and I have a headache because of all the laughing I have done. My husband has come in twice to ask if I'm ok. I knew I loved Ciara but seeing the Temple of the Dog shirt sealed that she is one of the funniest badass humans on the planet who can also drink most men under the table..love you all. 😂❤
Ciara is impressive the way she can step outside herself with everything uncomfortable, but Justine owned this one. She acted like it was one of the "hand-held back massagers" that are hidden in her sock drawer.
I love when u do these. So fun to watch. Always fun to see Ciara look like a human for once. Tens units can hurt on certain areas for sure especially at higher intensity. For endometriosis, u can crank that bitch up to 40 (except that 1 only goes to 20). Add fibroids - now we're really cooking!
I was absolutely amazed that they had it balanced enough that Thomas could pull one of a double-bracing pair and had it stay upright (similar to what Justine failed at doing).

There were a few times where it looked like Graeme was gonna shit himself. The turtle was poking its head out of its shell and needed to be pushed back in. 😅
Oof I feel for Laura. PCOS here too, until I had all my lady bits removed. Dial that simulator up to 17 or more for 2-3 weeks every month. 😓 Good video guys. 😅
Yeah PCOS sucks so much. I got diagnosed a few months back after years of no one figuring out what was going on. It really does take a toll on the body.
I think Graeme speaks for all menstruating women when he screams, "STOP ASKING ME QUESTIONS."
Totally! I couldn’t stop laughing at that
"You can turn my period off now." Thomas unknowingly speaking on behalf of females and we appreciate that. Also, Ciara's Temple of the Dog shirt. 😍
Love when Ciara and Justine are teamed up
They're always a hoot together. And either of them with Dermot is a banger too. The back and forth is always a win.
Ditto that 👍🏼
Just throwing it out there again that Graeme and Saifa are so good together!
Absolutely agree. Great pairing ❤
Abso-fuckin'-lutely!!

@@SlothShowerheh yeah, she was on a lucky streak, even if I doubt she think so, to be summoned to do this lol
Graeme and Saifa are like work husband and wife and it’s amazing 😂😂😂😂😂
Thomas saying, "Ok turn my period off now." If only it were that easy!😂
😂😂😂😂 Graeme's reactions are the best & yes sir, they do hurt that bad for some of us, & we carry on about our day the best we can. Lol can you imagine us females walkin around making the faces & noises Graeme does, during ours 😂😂😂 good on you for being a good sport
The irony is, I use a Tens unit to help alleviate my period cramps, along with heat.
Me too
I’d have mine up at the highest setting for hours…but I also had endometriosis and PCOS 😅
Tens can actually release body's own pain medicine.
Its a great help for a lot of pains and issues .
Yes! I've used an electric fence to zap my arthritic wrists when they were bad and the tens for belly & back pain relief lol
Thomas was king. He was at 20/20 and still went on for another 11 turns. Get that man whiskey.
Great pairs - Laura and Thomas are basically badasses, the ladies had a suspicious amount of fun, and Graeme and Saifa are just a delight together any time. Thanks for suffering for our amusement everyone!
Here I thought Ciara was the boss but Justine just crushed it!

Please go through the entire try cast doing this- this has been my favorite video in a long time 😂😂
I need more Dermot and I gotta see Lolsy on this omg
I was going to write the same comment 😂 100% agree
the other period pain simulator videos they've done are top notch as well
dermot and saifa doing this the first time they wheeled this out was a lolsterpiece@@SKODWARDE253

Thomas lends to the theory that gingers experience pain differently. He was amped up to 20 and still managed to concentrate 0.o
Very true
He did us proud.
As a ginger lady it is so freaking true about our pain tolerance being higher!! Fair play to Thomas!
As a balding redhead, I too was very proud of Thomas 👍
It's scientifically proven.
I absolutely love Graeme! And when paired with Saifa - great team. They had me laughing so hard.
Honestly this was amazing. Laura had some new vocabulary and Saifa's gigling is delight. Also she is GORGEOUS😍
